Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients to ensure comforts and welfare.
• Interprets information so that patients can easily understand what doctor diagnose and prescribe.
• Advocate for patients’ right
• Provides counseling in to patients coping with illness, pain, and stress.
• Encourage positive attitudes with the patients.
• Observe and record symptoms and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications as prescribed by the doctors.
• Administrative task, such as maintaining medical records and performing routine medical records and performing routine medical procedures.
• Assess patients, hooks IV’s and perform other emergency procedures.
• Provides personal hygiene care
• Assist in serving and feeding the patient
• Treats patient with respect at all times.
• Performs a wide variety of nursing procedures such as dressing and blood taking.
• Carry out general nursing duties in the care of the sick or injured and assist doctor in clinical and surgical procedures.
• Perform and record electrocardiogram.
• Maintain proper and accurate documentation of nursing intervention in the case notes.
