• Providing technical support to the project team and wider regional teams, responsible for overseeing the review, initiation and execution of contracts.
• Responsible for obtaining Client/PMC approvals for discipline materials for the project. Review and evaluate technical submittals and shop drawings prior to submission to consultants and clients according to required project specification. Review of Material requisitions for quantities and specifications, approach suppliers/vendors for quotations, prepare technical and commercial comparison statements for offers received for material, etc.
• Evaluating Sub-Contractors and coordinating with them for scope demarcation, specifications, documentation, material and execution including fabrication of Piping spools, supports and Structural steel, Erection of pumps, and other equipment.
• Monitor the erection of the SDSS and RTRP pipe spools AG/UG along with its components by the sub-contractors and approve their bills.
• Review of Piping Plan P&IDs, Preparation of scope of work for piping construction activities, Conversant with piping construction activities in line with ASME B31.3 Pre construction survey for pipe routing and support, supporting in preparation of piping isometric drawing,
• Producing documents required for field testing including hydro testing diagram, testing certificates & mechanical completion certificates, Coordinating with production supervisors for piping related problems that advise during fabrication and erection, Liaising with client engineers for site changes, approvals and clearances.
• Execute the SAT/pre commissioning, commissioning and startup of various plant equipment as per the procedure approved by KOC.
• Demonstrate desired leadership to ensue timeliness of project delivery and conflict management. Interface with external stake holders and third party agencies.
• Participation in the QRA, HAZID, HAZOP, and PHSER, review studies.
• The successful execution of the project assigned in accordance with the priorities, project schedule, cost and quality requirements. Establish the project WBS, schedule the network diagram and concentrate on the critical path activities, if any delay do fast tracking or crash the activities in order not to miss the time committed to the customer.
• Plan project resources; execute the project with allocated budget, and man-hours. Verify and process invoices.
• The direct management of a team of supervisors and supporting services staff like, fabrication supervisors, welding supervisors, QC and NDT.
• Effective utilization of the fabshop machineries such as vertical lathe, CNC drilling, CNC profile cutting for the achievement of the project deadlines.
• Provide leadership to ensure prompt prioritization and coordination of all unforeseen risk issues of the project and escalating to the higher management.
• Types of deliverables include, Chemical dozing skids, Custody Transfer Metering Skids, truck loading skids, Bidirectional Provers, Pressure vessels and spools fabrication for Saudi Aramco, SIPCHEM, SEC.
• MOC include, Carbon steel, low alloy steel, high alloy steel, overlay/ cladded materials
Mechanical coordinator of contractor for the 2 sinter plants
Successfully managing the Mechanical team of approx 130 members including supervisors and technicians for the maintenance of the Plant
• Develop and ensure a project execution plan in consultation with the Client.
• Ensure execution compliance with the schedules, budget and contract obligations and report deviations and constrains...
• Develop project deliverables list and ensure its delivery on schedule.
• Forecast the resource requirement for the project required to execute, within the time frame.
• Delegate and control the tasks to the subordinates and get the maximum output.
• Submit weekly and monthly progress reports to the management regarding overall progress, of the project.
• Piping spool fabrication of approximately 1200 inch dia of various moc including CS, low alloy and high alloy steels
• Represent the company for the review meetings with the client and end user.
• Equipment fabricated Modularized pipe racks and Pre assembly unit for the Laggan Tormore (UK) Project by Petrofac.for TOTAL.and MSF evaporator for FISIA for SAMSUNG, TAKREER
• Responsible as Fab shop in charge a fabrication shop of columns and pressure vessels.
• Execution and monitoring of the day to day fabrication works at shop and controlling directly the manpower of the shop.
• Coordinate with Project, Planning, Engineering, Materials, Maintenance and Quality to ensure trouble free shop operation at all times.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and tools, jigs and fixtures requirement for execution of job.
• Develop team spirit and control sub ordinates.
• Equipment fabricated- Benzene rerun column, TEG contactor, stripper column, drums for hydrodesulphurization plant. scrapper trap, steam drum, vessels for hydro treater plant, metering skids.
• Major Clients- Tecnicas Reunidas, , Samsung engineering, SK E &C Technip, SATORP, SAUDI Aramco, Fluor, Haldor Topsoe
• Maintain 5S and Kaizen atmosphere in the shop.
Playing a lead role, from material procurement, fabrication, quality control, and testing, surface protection to final dispatch of the project with export documentation and invoicing.
Review of contracts, projects specification, drawings, MTO etc and giving proper instructions to different departments like procurement, production, QC, Logistics.
Follow up approvals of documents/drawings from discipline engineers. Receive purchase order, acknowledgement and execution schedules from clients
Proper scheduling of targets with subordinates.
Identify progress miles stones and resolve operational issues. Take remedial action in case of slippage.
Maintain control sheets and periodically update project management on the status of all P.Os.
Verify Client payment invoices with respect to PO terms and conditions. Assist
accounts department in problem invoices.
AL- Jaber steel products LLC is a subsidiary of Al JABER establishments which dealt with fabrication of trailers, crushers, concrete plants, asphalt plants, stacks and exhaust system etc.
Review of BOQ and drawings and procuring the materials as per priority.
Perform post order coordination with departments and expedite materials for fabrication to ensure delivery schedule
Handle any delivery inconsistencies.
Successfully managing team of supervisor, team leaders, fabricators, and welders for timely completion of projects like concrete plants, asphalt plants.
Maintaining of ISO documents.
