Greeting and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner.
•Ensure hotel brand standards and SOP’s are consistently implemented.
•Coaching training and developing colleagues.
•Ensure restaurant is always kept clean and organized, both front and back of house areas and cleanliness of cutleries and glasses throughout the shift.
•Perform shift closing on the point of sale terminal and tally cash and credit card settlements.
•Responsible for cleaning, collecting and returning food and beverages items to proper area.
•Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special request to the kitchen.
•Communicate with the kitchen regarding any menu questions, the length of wait and product availability.
•Record transaction / order in point of sales system at the time of order.
•Communicate with guests and staffs in professional language, and answer phone calls using appropriate telephone etiquette.
•Ensure guests are serviced within specified time and assist guest while seating.
•Answer any questions regarding menu and assist guest with menu selections.
•Conduct monthly and daily inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies.
