Internships 1) Arjuna Natural Extracts, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu (July 2009). Here I learnt the process involved in the production of fish lipid oil (Epoxy Pentanoic Acid & Docosa Hexanoic Acid enriched) which is used as a food supplement. Besides this, I learnt the process involved in the production of flax seed oil which is a EPA & DHA supplement for vegetarians and the extraction of curcumin from tumeric which is anti bacterial. 2) Akzo Nobel Coatings India Private Limited, Bangalore (August 2010). The internship mainly aimed at the study polyurethane dispersions, a relatively new concept in India, and to understand the properties of these polyurethanes and their applications. The project also included a study of the manufacture of water based polyurethane paints and to determine the possibility of manufacture in Akzo Nobel, Bangalore.
