- Conduct Certification Weld Training programs for the welders according to requirement used Standard. Ensuring that each new employee, whether temporary or permanent, receives appropriate safety training at the start of employment. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers and fabrication of products.
- Duties involved are control and monitor welding consumables usage and adherence to welding procedures and specifications. Monitor the productivity of the workforce with respect to the allocated budget man hours, maintaining, monitor and reinforce safety regulations with the entire workforce, and maintain quality workmanship with respect to applicable codes and standards. Clients specification, workmanship, company quality
and work and instructions.
- Supervise and control of welders full welding of different kind of pipe diameters and materials required for the project, through welding procedures and specification
- Monitor quality weld of welders to minimize rejection rate.
- Prepare reports on pipe joints that require preheating prior to full welding (cladding of alloy, cuni, ss, duplex and super duplex).
- Visual inspection of weld joints prior to endorsement to Q.C. for NDT.
- Prepare report of those joints which require 100% X-ray.
- Work on schedule of welders. Monitor daily weld dia. Inch of welders.
- Prepare daily accomplishment reports in welding
All execution of welding procedure necessary to repair of car, trailers: Argon and CO2 in aluminium.
