• Manage and monitor/supervise a variety of accounting, finance & operational activities to ensure that the organisations financial resources are manage efficiently and effectively in accordance with accounting principles and comply with all relevant regulations, laws and standards.
• Critically review on a regular basis for submission to the management, Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, Monthly Accounts Analysis and other financial statements like Fixed Assets and depreciation statements, Bank reconciliation, Sales and Cost of sales statement and debtor and creditor lists are in support of achieving business objectives.
• A/R ageing for customers and credit controls.
• Handling fixed assets recording and related controls.
• Preparing VAT, WHT, and Zakat return files and handling any GAZT related matter.
• Review monthly payroll payment.
• Controlling All related matters of monthly closing.
• Budgeting and related controls.
• Review analysis files & update all required
• Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.
• Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries.
• Coordinate with finance team to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.
• Evaluate computerized accounting systems and provide recommendations to IT team for performance improvements.
• Generate financial reports and statements to Managers for review.
• Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.
• Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management.
• Respond to accounting inquiries from management in a timely fashion.
• Provide guidance to other Accountants when needed.
• Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
• Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.
