Project Details: The Santos GLNG Project is a US$18.5 billion pioneering venture to convert coal seam natural gas (CSG) to liquefied natural gas (LNG) for export to global markets.
Basetec are a supply contractor to Fluor and construction sub-contractor to Clough-Downer Joint Venture,
supplying and installing above and below ground glass reinforced epoxy (GRE) piping for water to grade systems for dewatering of coal measures.

Key Duties: Manage and coordinate the safe and efficient execution of the contract valued at approximately $20m.
Implement the contract on-site and manage all phases of the project including mobilisation, start-up, human
resources, scope, project engineering, construction, quality documentation and reporting.
Lead, supervise, direct and mentor a team of 20 blue collar and white collar personnel overseeing safety.
Manage all works on-site through supervisors and leading hands, ensuring work is completed safely to quality standards and in accordance with the project schedule.
Facilitate and contribute to commercial meetings regarding contractual issues, variations, notices of delay.
Develop programmes and schedules for works and track progress against schedules.
Work with Contractors, their client, Fluor, and their client, Santos, to work through various technical, supply and constructability issues.
Manage the workload of the Project Engineer, Quality Engineer, Supervisors and the HSE Coordinator.
Manage payment claims and invoices for processing by the contractor.
Manage delays for issues or events such as inclement weather and other situations such as delays in the supply of free-issue materials or open trench to lay pipe.
