- Collecting information on macroeconomic performance of Arab countries(22 countries) including economic indicators, economic analysis and economic reports.
- Preparing profiles on macroeconomic performance for Arab countries shedding light on the recent developments with regard to economic growth, inflation, monetary policy, fiscal policy and external sector.
- Conducting comparative analysis for different economic expectations released by concerned economic and financial Institutions (IMF, WB, EIU, Focus economics, Trading economics, …etc)
- Assisting in editing main economic reports released by AMF, this includes:
- The Joint Arab Economic Report (JAER), Arabic and English version, available at: http://www.amf.amf.org.ae.
- The Arab Economic Outlook (AEO), available at: http://www.amf.org.ae.
- Assisting in editing different economic studies on the most important issues to policy makers like:
- Youth Unemployment in Arab Countries.
- Reforming Subsidy Systems in Arab Countries.
- The Implications of Islamic Banking Activities on Monetary Policy Management in Arab Countries.
- Macroprudential Policy and its Impact on Financial Stability in Arab Countries.
- High level meetings and conferences: liaising and coordinating with both internal and external parties, materials, press releases, and distributing invitations.
- Review and route incoming correspondence,
- Preparing planned tasks, performance reports and following up sheets to trace the achieved progress within the division.
- Responsible for organizing different files required for facilitating the task of
- internal auditing inspection.
- Drafting memo, letters and minutes of meetings related to research department.
- Providing general administrative support such as preparing correspondence, forms and reports, arranging meetings, composing regular correspondence, processing confidential reports and documents, filing electronic and hard copy, tracking deadlines, and taking down minutes as needed.
- Interpreting, assisting and advising employees and managers regarding cooperative agreement applications, leave management and benefit administration, and HR procedures and policies within the specified guidelines.
- Maintaining and monitoring records of exempt employee benefits and salary.
- Maintaining employee file records up-to-date by handling changes in employee status in timely manner.
- Ensuring effective reception or proper approvals on forms and enter changes in the system.
- Preparing paperwork needed to create new employee profile and to place new employee on payroll.
- Providing assistance in hiring process activities such as posting jobs on job board, company website, reviewing applications and maintaining a spreadsheet on tracking an applicant.
- Providing and preparing monthly, quarterly and yearly tabulation reports.
- Assisting P.R.O. on processing, encoding and translation of visa’s and other documents from English to Arabic (vice versa).
- Reviewing and updating the organization Financial Statements.
- Fixing, Updating and re-organizing the company’s website.
- Finalizing the annual financial reports.
- Reviewing the closing and following the company’s targets.
- Providing teaching assistance during classes.
- Educating students Business Courses (after class when needed).
- Educating students on how to use Microsoft office application (such as word, excel, powerpoint, access).
