• Responsible for coordination with sub-contractor’s representative
• Coordinates with other discipline regarding work interfacing and document release of equipment and lines ready for insulation
• Participate in pre-start and tool box meeting at the start of each shift/day
• Lead the development of JHA’s and site risk assessment discussions
• Promote and facilitate an excellent safety culture within working teams
• Supervision and monitoring of sub-contractor’s activities
• Monitors manpower loading per activities
• Ensure the whole team contributes to health & safety and operates in a safe manner
• Ensure that the subordinate Leading Hands and work team members understand the safety requirements, the scope of works, the quality standards and the time frames required to complete the work is achieved
• Ensure that all employees within work team are performing their tasks safely and efficiently
• Responsible for visual spot checks and quality inspections throughout each project before the final inspections are carried out
• Ensure that the right level of competency is applied to each task
• Provide progressive onsite trade training for work teams
• Ensure that all insulation tools and equipment is within calibration/ date and fit for use
• Ensures project and engineering standard practices are implemented
• Inspection of insulation materials and accessories prior to installation.
• Ensure that all material complies with project specifications
• Reviews productivity output and initiate measures in order to correct or improve variance
• In process inspection of insulation installation
• Responsible for the completion of daily reports on progress
• Perform also the function of QA/QC- Insulation Inspector (with approval from YASREF/YERP representative).
QA/QC Insulation Inspector
• Responsible for assisting the site QC Supervisor for the implementation of approved quality plans, procedures, inspection and testing plans and ensuring the clients requirements are met at the job site.
• Monitoring, coordination and control of sub-contractor’s QC team at the job site.
• Prepare, review of inspection testing plan, check list, test-packages as required by the client.
• Ensure the discipline, as QC Inspector, in initiating the preventive and proactive call.
• Ensure and liaise with construction team for adherence of the preventive and proactive calls at the job site to avoid potential non-conformities.
• Ensure the Quality Records are up to date.
• Maintain quality records and ensure those produced are collected and compiled into records.
• Preparation and submit QC’s two (2) weeks look ahead to the client.
• Review of all sub-contractor’s QC inspector reports.
• Coordinate with third party inspection agencies/ inspectors as required.
• Raise, review and submit RFI to the client’s representative.
• Supervise & monitor activities of all sub-contractor’s QC Inspectors.
• Reports to the insulation/cladding and painting manager
• Responsible for coordination with client representatives
• Implements project safety and quality requirements

• Conducts meeting, giving emphasis on safety, quality and productivity

• Accountable for meeting safety, quality and productivity targets
• Initiates purchase requisitions for materials, consumables and PPE requirement of the group
