Preparing project plans, engineering designs / drawings and technical specifications as per clients’ requirements.
Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning - Document/Drawing review for Block 6 area Phase III projects of FNE/JAKE/MOGA/KEYI FPF/FSF field and New HADIDA field development project for FSF/FPF production upstream surface facilities related activities of Instrumentation & Control discipline.
Handling Technical bid analysis & making recommendations of instrument item offers.
Detailed Design & Engineering (Instrumentation)
Lead & own the process of preparation and review of design deliverables with due consideration for applicable Codes & Standards for the drawings/documents like System Architecture, Specifications, Data sheet, Cable Block Diagram, Instrument location layout / Cable route layout, Interconnection / loop drawings, Cause & Effect / logic diagrams, Cable / Junction Box schedule.
Review of P&I Diagrams and other discipline drawings & documents for cross discipline check.
Preparing the instrument Index, DCS / ESD / F&G Input Output IO List, Instrument Installation “Hook-ups” diagram, MTO for instruments & erection materials.
Preparing Technical specifications/Data sheet/Material requisition for DCS/ESD/F&G/RTU and SCADA systems.
Responsible for all design and Engineering Activities & Commissioning of Projects, review of all engineering documents issued by consultants, All Engineering supports to Field construction projects, Answerable to the Owner for all Design and Field activities
Responsible for Listing of engineering deliverables and planning the design teams activities in preparation of the detail design outputs. Ensuring a First-Time-Right (FTR) approach for preparation of design deliverables, per approved budget/schedule. Monitor the design team progress against the deliverables list to ensure timely completion and submission to Owner.
Monitor and manage the scope of work of conceptual, FEED and Basic and Detail design activities done by the engineering contractor.
Review reports, engineering calculations, drawings and documents and ensure the project deliverables as per the specification and standards.
Participate in Design Review, SIL workshop and HAZOP meetings.
Review technical proposals and prepare technical bid evaluation reports, MRs, Technical evaluation of bid offers, drawings etc
Review contract requirements for project execution, review the Technical Document Register (TDR),
Interface with Leads of other departments to reflect the as-on-date input from other departments, client and vendors/contractors.
Review of Factory acceptance test FAT procedures, witness factory acceptance test for systems, major items and package equipments.
Ensure design packages meet the required safety, reliability, efficiency, operability, energy efficiency, and maintainability and environment standards.
Knowledge about latest ASME, IEC, API, ISA, NFPA, IEEE, ISO codes & other international standards.
Take ownership of deliverables produced & their quality.
Capture all changes / modifications in the deliverables that has been intimated by Project, prior to release of deliverable.
Ensure appropriate checking & review of all documents / drawings before release at any Revision status.
Project Management
Preparing project plans, engineering designs / drawings and technical specifications as per clients’ requirements.
Planning, scoping, estimating, tracking & implementing project plans within preset budgets and deadlines and coordinating projects for the set up facilities.
Undertaking resource planning for optimizing man & machine utilization, reducing wastes for enhancing productivity and profitability.
Keep HOD informed on progress of project, with agreed periodicity.
Monitor Budget Compliance of design deliverable production.
Escalate resource / infrastructure issues / concern areas that implicate the production process, to the right office / agency.
Construction Management
Developing site organisation to suit the project needs; selecting construction methodology & implementation.
Anchoring on-site construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters.
Deploying suitable manpower/ equipment / materials & planning to ensure timely execution of the projects.
