• Responsible for the complete recruitment activities of the group for position ranging from entry level positions to C-Level Executives.
• Co-ordinating with line managers and heads of departments while drafting job descriptions and requirements as well as short-listing and onboarding employees.
• Placing job advertisements and announcements for (1-on-1 or online interviews) through different mediums to acquire the required talent - permanent, contractual, part time, freelance employees or consultants / contractors.
• Sourcing candidates from online platforms, social media websites, recruitment agencies, arranging & conducting walk-in interviews and assessments
• Handling the complete On-Boarding of new hires; conducting Induction trainings, handling logistics related to the scheduling and preparation of new hire materials, overseeing checklists for all required tools such as PC’s, laptops, SIM cards, furniture etc. to ensure smooth onboarding and orientation.
• Maintaining/updating HR records and information such as employee files & policies through an in-house software and ERP system, exercising the utmost discretion while working with highly confidential information
• Supporting staff with HR-related issues, including, compensation, benefits, rewards and recognition, vacation, misconduct, and any problem resolution
• Handled payroll duties in coordination with the finance / account’s teams, EOSB conflicts, gratuity issues, transfer of funds at the end-of-service for employees, exit interviews, handled resignations and termination procedures.
ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE ROLE
• Increased ‘employee retention’ rate from 40% to 55% per quarter by introducing and practicing effective compensation & benefits schemes for the group.
• Increased employee recruitment on an average of 5 employees to 20 per month by strengthening the recruitment process and easing the documentation process, while ensuring smooth and timely on-boarding of candidates.
