Monitoring QA/QC inspection and documentation and ensure that all inspection activities are incorporated with ITP and that can be traced according to the project requirement.
Reviewed ISO, Spool fabrication drawings, Weld Map.
Attending pre-job meeting for all activities for fabrication, welding activities.
Involved in checking of the drawings, releasing for construction & Monitoring the work as per drawings.
Reviewing and Execution of Quality Inspection Plane (QIP) for construction of new equipments.
Coordination with Third Party Inspector and A.I. (Authorized Inspector) about their “Hold Points” and Witness Points etc.
To make sure the Shop Floor Activities as per Drawing, Client Specifications and Applicable Code.
Inspection of incoming material in workshop and Verification of Material Test Reports.
Working on Approved Method Statements used for the equipments.
To conduct the all activities of Fit up Inspection, Monitoring of welding and NDT activities, Dimensional Inspection, Examine the Hydrostatic and Pneumatic Tests.
Preliminary Welding inspection activities like material traceability, dimensional checking, orientation of piping components, heat number transfer, fit up, pre heat, root pass and hot pass, intermediate cleaning and heat requirement, monitoring proper electrode and filler wire usage and temperature controlling of Low hydrogen electrodes, proper distortion control, reinforced pad test and orientation and flush grinding of orifice flanges.
Inspection /witnessing of storage tanks welding, bending, hydro test as per QIP.
Verification of welding process, welder and welding consumable as per approved WPS.
Witnessing and monitoring NDE, PWHT, Hardness Test and PMI have been covered as per the project specification.
Witnessing Welder Qualification test (WQT) and Verification of welders JCC (Job Clearance Card) and Procedure Qualification test.
Assessment and Review of Welder repair rate on weekly or monthly basis per project requirement, and maintaining welder continuity.
Maintain a log book for all reports, inspections and tests including date, time and results of Calibration certificates.
Giving spot suggestion on small problems at site and identifying engineering issues, communicating with construction and engineering department for resolving the same at earlier stage.
Preparation of Material Summary Sheet, Welders Continuity List, NDT Summary Sheet, Dimensional Inspection Report, Hydrostatic and Pneumatic Test Report, Hardness Testing Report.
Monitoring the QA/QC Documentation and ensure that all the activities are incorporated to their system on daily basis and can be traced according to our requirements. Issuing NCR’s when non-conformity activities were noted at site.
Inspected Consumables, their package, handling and proper storage.
Inspected joint Fit-up, diameter, schedule, root gap, internal misalignment, etc and PMI wherever required.
Monitored in-process welding parameters such as ampere, voltage, travel speed, heat input, weaving, preheat & inter-pass temperature requirements, post heating.
Reviewed calibration of welding machines, baking and holding ovens, quivers, and inspection tools.
Inspected root for branch welds like sock-o-lets, weld-o-lets, reinforced branch connection and other welds wherever accessible.
Conducted post weld visual inspection and prepared daily welding reports (DWR) and review and signing of Daily Welding Inspection Report (DWIR).
Prepare weekly RFI of IN-Process Welding Inspection, Post Welding Inspection, Modification and Repair Joints.
Tracked repair joints, monitored excavation & its NDE results.
Preparations of punch list and maintain the Quality records according to the work progress.
Witnessing hydro tests and pneumatic tests & also inspection of calibration
To complete the Final Dossier/IDM (Inspection Data Manual) to the project leader after completion of project.
Coordinated with Main Contractor Inspectors and Client Inspectors.
