• Carry out inspections/training and duties within agreed authorities and to inspection standards as laid down by the Engineering Department.

• Completes necessary procedures to satisfy licensing requirements, and indicates concurrence with acceptance or rejection decisions.
• Compliance to all applicable policies, procedures and work instruction as per QHSE, ISO & CMS standards the legal/regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and distribute inspection reports /training certificates in professional manner
• Prepare and/or maintains report files, and written correspondence related to the work
• Ensure timesheets are completed correctly and signed off

• Assist of preparing documents for audits (approval) in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 79020, LEEA, and ENAS.
• Responsible of preparing work packs and disseminating information about project work scope and preparing risk assessment and attend safety meeting with OIM, Barge Engineer, Drillers and other crews on-board.
• Assign and responsible for daily progress report (total Man-hours worked today, & to date, downtime today, & to date, and downtime analysis) of inspectors time utilization.
• Prepare on-site service time sheet, customer evaluation sheet, and job close out sheet after project work scope completely done.
• Provide technical support of Lifting Equipment rules and regulations as per LOLER, BS, BSEN, ASME and DNV standards.
• Temporary assigned for Inspection job coordination activity (mobilization/de-mobilization of personnel) and technical support providers.
• Responsible to carry out daily offshore works permit, and tool box talk safety meeting of our personnel on-board.
• Competent to carry out thorough examination, inspection and load testing using water bags of offshore pedestal cranes according to API 2C/2D standards.
• Qualified to carry out Non-Destructive test (PT, MT & ECI) for load bearing pad eyes, FRC, utility air winches, and man riding welds, structural welds, as well as the critical areas of drilling handling tools equipment.
• Conduct thorough examination, inspection and testing of cargo carrying units (CCU’s), Offshore Personnel Transfer basket (Billy Pugh), life boat davits and life rafts.
• Responsible for work equipment maintenance in safe condition and reporting any deficiencies. Liaise with third party inspectors and clients
• Carry out all duties in accordance with the quality Assurance, HSE and company procedures and departmental work instructions.
• Conduct trainings and assessment of Rigging and slinging safety methods and safety procedures of handling lifting equipment plans and operations

• Perform necessary rigging study work, categorize the handling and lifting operations, review heavy / critical lift studies and calculations, and technically evaluate subcontractor heavy / critical lifting plan and activities.
• Liaise with concerned personnel (clients, companies, subcontractors) on project scope, execution and progress.
• Carry out a review of method statements, risks assessment and job safety analysis plan produced by the Lifting Subcontractors.
• Works in line with company HSE policy, ensures subcontractors and subordinates are aware of, and comply with HSE procedures, rules and regulations for rigging / lifting activities.
• Responsible for the assessment of heavy/critical lifting operations to ensure that planning, selection of cranes and lifting equipment and accessories, instruction and supervision as necessary is in place to enable the lifting task to be safely executed.
• Ensure that transportation and lifting operation strategies are followed and that operations are carried out in accordance with project Specific procedures.
• Monitor the lifting operations to ensure that they are being carried out in accordance with approved rigging study, established work method statement, risk and job safety analysis.
• Awareness of site safety protection to ensure that only safe work methods are in operation, adequate fire and fall protection are in place, adequate welfare and first aid facilities are well maintained, approved tools, equipment are being used and sufficient and appropriate personal protective equipment for each job must be worn.
• Closely monitors scaffold erection/dismantling work, PTW (hot and cold permit to work), confined space entries, crane work/lifting operations, electrical works and similar hazardous works and ensures that all relevant requirements are complied with.
• Assign for site risk assessment and evaluation for the accident and incident causes for Lifting Equipment activity.
• Conduct trainings and assessment of rigging and slinging safety methods and safety procedures of handling lifting equipment plans and operations.
• Witnesses of pressure testing of shell(body), seat and back seat of PSV by using medium of Hydrostatic, pneumatic, hydraulic and nitrogen in accordance to the regulations of API 598, ASME/ANSI B1 6.34/BS 6755
• Performed thorough examination, inspections all type of cranes such as STS (Shore to ship Cranes), RTG (Rubber Tyre Gantry Cranes), offshore pedestal cranes, mounted pedestal cranes, crawler cranes, mobile cranes and etc.

• Conduct thorough examination, and inspections in accordance with international standards BSI, BSEN, LEEA COPSULE, and NORSOK, API 8C, ASME, ISO, LOLERS and with companies operating safety regulations and plant operating requirements
• Perform thoroughly examination and inspection of construction equipment such as suspended working platform (cradles), tower cranes, passenger elevators, mobile cranes, crawler cranes and earth moving equipment.
• Perform thoroughly examination of Heavy lifting equipment such as offshore pedestal cranes, Goliath and semi goliath cranes, STS and RTG cranes.
• Apply developing procedures for heavy lifts; recommending crane and lifting equipment selection and placement; developing associated drawings, instructions and procedures.
• Ensuring cranes, equipment with operators are complying with clients’ standards and local authorities.
• Provide and proposed to the client the lifting study/plan which may include choice of cranes, mode of transport, and risk assessment in regards to the lift.
• Carry-out plan and execute with good supervision on heavy lift and heavy transportation activities, mobilizing of cranes such as assembling and disassembling for a perspective lift.
• Provide and conduct Rigging and Lifting Training / Refresher Courses. Conduct a quarterly audit on Safe Rigging and Lifting Practices and Lifting gears inspection.
• Provides technical expertise, identifies the necessary training requires to implement Safe Rigging / Lifting Operations, in able to support and encourages the practical application of competency based development.
• Perform all the necessary procedures, monitor and strict implementation of cold, hot, isolation permits in accordance to quality safety prior to proof load test of pedestal mounted cranes and EOT cranes using water bags and dead weights.

• Hands-on experience in Electrical installation and commissioning of proximity sensors, PLC controls, terminations of over-all power control system of the batching plant, Silos induction pumps drive motors, pneumatic valves and cable trays of Stetter / Mobile batching Plant owned by Arabian Mix, Dubai, UAE
• Knowledge in Erection and Dismantling of LIEBHERR tower cranes and attend breakdowns and direct troubleshooting on site if necessary not to overrun more time of repairing.
• Supervised the erection and dismantling of CH and SCANDO type of ALIMAK (rental passengers lift) in oilrig on forward, starboard, and port legs at sharjah khalid port Lamprell. Assigned to responsibility for daily services and preventive maintenance.
• Experienced in commissioning, installations, troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs of flygt dewatering pumps, Jungheinrich (Forklift and Pallet trucks) and other construction machineries.
• Designated as Service Engineer to attend and rectify breakdowns, and immediate repairs at site and service maintenance as per running hours of ATLAS COPCO MACHINERIES LIKE AC GENERATORS, AIR POWER COMPRESSORS, and AIR DRYERS etc.
• Conduct servicing as per instruction manual and running hours service guidelines for AC generators, air power compressors and other machineries.
• Having ability to determine part nos. as specified in the drawing and parts manual from different industrial and construction equipment.
• In-charge and responsible for modification and down loading programs of MK1, Mk2, Mk3 to new MK4 Electronic Module of GA- compressors(ATLAS COPCO).
• Knowledgeable in computation of power loads, wire sizes, over current protection devices, circuiting guidelines, protection of the branch circuits and circuit safe load based on DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) rules and regulations of 1997 edition.

• Conduct Pre-delivery inspection (PDI) of construction Equipment such as earthmoving machineries, cranes, air compressor and generators prior for delivery
• Assigned as maintenance and installation engineer for the Tower Cranes /Luffing Cranes, The main activities are for the installation of power cables, set up all electrical controls and calibrate safety limit switches and load sensing device during equipment commissioning
• Supervised site activity like erection and dismantling of tower cranes and passenger hoists. Comply and abide site safety rules and regulations, strictly implement PPE (Personnel Protective Equipment) at site work to eliminate incident during Crane erection and dismantling.
• Assigned to rectify all non-conformance reports of the crane and passenger lift from third Party Inspection body and turn-over the cranes to the client safe and operational.
• Supervised workshop activity such as repairing and reconditioning, modification of panel boards, baking and varnishing stator and rotor windings, refilling hydraulic oil, gear oil, replacement of oil-seal, o-ring seal, lubrication of pinion and rack gears, wire rope cable drums, etc.
• Attend any customer complaint and do troubleshooting at site if necessary, not to overrun more time of repairing.
