The role of a Land Access Co-ordinator is to provide notification and support to key internal and external stakeholders on land access and statutory approval requirements for the design and construction of various technology groups within the Customer Access Network (CAN).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Review Designs and provide determination under the telecommunications Act 1997 & Environmental & Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.
•Assist in finance administration ad invoicing.
•Regular Liaison with Access and Statutory Approvals staff.
•Working collaboratively with Design Teams to ensure a clear understanding of statutory approval requirements and assist in obtaining permits as appropriate
•Quality assurance of data and strong attention to detail to ensure all information is correctly filed onto the appropriate systems.
•Provide support to the National Land Access Specialist to resolve problems as quickly and effectively as possible, escalating when required.
•Minimise risk by ensuring Designers and Contractors obtain necessary statutory approvals and land access requirements.
•Create land access notices and reports on behalf of Telstra and NBN.
•Administration and maintenance of various databases used by both internal and external clients.
•Input and Update Compliance Management systems.
•Develop and maintain strong working relationships with State and Local Government approval authorities.
I am focused on supporting the Land Access team and in ensuring all administration is up to date and assisting in other areas of administration to help grow the business.
