I was involved in maintenance activities of all the online Analyzers of ammonia, urea & utility area of Plant. My day to day job involves the following activities:
•Carry out the daily PM & CM jobs, preparation of calibration certificate & keep the records related to ISO-9000.
•Attend call out for plant emergency jobs.
•Attend weekly safety meeting and other necessary technical meetings.
•Carry out the shutdown jobs, coordinating with the additional manpower.
•Carry out the jobs related to various FCO (Field Change Order), which involves the activities like cable laying, gland termination, instrument installation, loop checking & complete the commissioning etc.
•Shutdown & Turnaround activities such as isolation of all sample points, overhaul GC analyzers, replace the filters in primary and secondary sampling boxes, Inspection, and cleaning of sample probes, check the gas detector alarms, tripping, and deluge system operations etc.
•Conduct the SAT of the analyzers in co-ordination with the vendors to ensure safe start up and functioning.

It was Kuwait Government Fertilizer Company having two ammonia & urea Plants in the same complex. I was involved in carry out daily routine PM/CM jobs, assisting Senior Tech in fault-finding, loop checking, troubleshooting & maintenance of all the Analyzers of Ammonia, Urea & Utility area of the Plant.
At Reliance Industries Ltd-Hazira-India, I worked approximately 10 years for general instrumentation & gained the following experience:
•Involving in day to day preventive maintenance for field Instruments, individual inspection, calibration, loop simulation etc.
•Experienced in fire & gas safety systems like deluge system, foam monitoring system and CO2 fire extinguisher system for gas turbine and hydrocarbon tank form area.
•Reading and implementation of P & I drawings, PEFS, loop diagrams, hookup diagrams, logic diagrams etc.
•Reading and understanding the process flow schematics, loop diagram, P & I diagram, functional gate logic, relay logic and ladder logic etc.
•Preparation and testing of logical sequence and interlocks during startup and shut down, based on cause and effect sequence. Safeguarding check on trip interlock system for danger loops.
•Providing technical information to the company during turnaround (T/A) or shutdown (S/D) jobs.
