• Monitor site activity and conduct daily site inspections (civil, structural and material delivery) as per Inspection request according to method statement and approved materials.
• Check material submittals, method statements, 3rd party reports, etc. for comments and approval.
• Check work progress and assist quantity surveyor for invoice approval and progress report.
• Surveillance works and monitoring for both quality and work safety concerns within the site.
• Prepare daily inspection report accomplished within the day.
• Check shop drawings and as built drawings.
• Attend and witness material sampling and testing as per quality requirement and specifications.
• Issue NCR/NCN and SDR to all non conformances concerning both quality and safety issues and recommends closure procedure.
• Review and evaluate test results from 3rd party testing laboratory.
• Conduct snag list for final approval of works
Responsibilities:

• Attend and witness all site testing (compaction, water proofing, concrete compressive strength).
• Monitor and check the documents certifying the tests, controls and inspections carried out.
• Attend concreting works and monitor all site conditions of good quality mix (temperature, workability, etc.)
• Conduct snagging list for final approval
Responsibilities:
QA/QC Engineer
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure all materials for structural, civil and painting works complies with the specifications and design requirements as required in method statement, inspection and test plan.
Provide guidance and assistance to all site staff with regards to quality system applied particularly on structural steel, civil and painting works.
Prepare monthly quality report.
Assist and monitor foremen to speed up construction.
Verify shop drawings and all technical requirements; ensure changes reflected on the drawings according to technical queries and design changes.
Implement and ensure adherence to standards on quality, environmental friendliness, safety, reliability, efficiency, interchangeability, economical of products and services.
Attendance of weekly progress meeting.
Responsibilities:
Supervised engineering staff, foremen, workers on construction of main tunnel structure and water proofing installation.
Prepared work breakdown schedule and equipment for site operation.
Prepared estimates for material requirements back up for purchase order as per advance forecasting.
Designed plans for temporary activities such as access routes, diversions channel, shoring methods and dewatering system.
Conducted daily tool box meetings to ensure safety at work and initiate priority works for efficiency.
Responsible for all corrective action in response to consultant complaints on non-conformances.
Prepared daily and weekly reports according to production, manpower and equipments operations.
Attended client meetings, queries, and requests and furnished updated project reports.
Inspected all executed works and ensured compliance in accordance with safety, specification, quality, budget and schedule.
Studied construction drawings and implemented on site according to project specification.
Prepared plan for the work on site; advised selection of required equipment, material and manpower.
Evaluated project progress towards defining interventions and solutions to problems encountered in the execution of work to achieve the desired output.
