Safety Officer
Activities and Responsibilities:
• Conducting daily routine inspection to site employee, vessel hatches, jetty and yard.
Observe all safety rules and regulations & takes necessary action to obtain
compliance with all safety policies.
• Analyze working environment and provide JSA (job safety analysis).
• Check for hazard and ensure risk free environment through RA (Risk Assessment)
• Regular inspection and maintenance of safety and firefighting equipment’s
• Check PTW (permit to work) sheet before the start of the daily work
• Taking disciplinary action against employees and foreman.
• Conducting routine functional tasks i.e. Tool Box Talk, Safety meeting.
• Checking safe work plan and housekeeping of the working area before starting the
work.
• Ensure that all employees having specific personal protective equipment are as
required.
• Report incident, accident and unsafe conditions to HSE office.
• Ensure the mandatory PPE (personal protective equipment) are worn all the
working time
Activities and Responsibilities:
• Maintenance and control of EHV, HV, LV, ELV Systems and Lines.
• Maintenance of Vacuum, Gas breakers and Battery Systems
• Routine testing of switchgears, breakers, control and relay panels.
• Testing and Commissioning of Equipment.
• Operation of Power transformers, CT, PT, relays
• ALSTOM, ANDREW YULE, VOLTAS, MEGAWIN, CROMPTON GREAVES, SCOPE
Panels.
• Cable Laying, Glanding and Termination.
• Conducting classes regarding safety and work precautions.
