As Editor, I am in charge of all internal and external communication in the company. I write press releases, other projects to generate traffic to the website, edit, proofread and commission articles for in-house magazines, manage relationship with UAE media, and more. I am required to work in a fast-paced environment and to strict deadlines.
Involved in production of business pages. Cover the real estate beat, write exclusive and analytical stories on the industry, cover press conferences, maintain industry contacts. Digitally savvy, understand the kind of stories that will drive web traffic. I source, edit and write news stories from a variety of sources, delivering breaking news quickly and accurately. Write compelling and creative text and headlines, images, video links to create appealing online packages. Manage the business section's social media accounts. Have a strong command of web headline news writing and editing experience; exceptional writing, spelling and grammar skills; familiarity with online content management systems; and the ability to work accurately under deadline pressure.
