•Invitations, receipt of bids, evaluation, review of Subcontractors’ price, previous work experience and their performance
•Commercial vetting of sub contractor tenders and contracts
•Prebid and Postbid clarifications/negotiations for technical, contractual & commercial aspects
•Review of scope, drawings and specifications. Quantity Take off in line with IFC drawings, Project Preambles, Site Instructions and Project requirement revisions. Verification and certification of Quantities submitted by Client/Contractors QS
•Analyze the rates submitted by the Contractor/Subcontractors’ and implications from the execution point of view
•Provide advice to project staff on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of
correspondence - "Contractual Letter Writing".
•Checking, verifying and measuring actual on-site quantity and comparing these from the submitted BOQ of the client and in costing for Variation/Change Orders and Additional/Deductive works.
•Preparation of CTR(Cost Time Resource) sheets for the additional works done as per site instructions
•Preparation, Checks and verifies interim bills, Monthly Progress Billing/Invoice of the Company/Subcontractor & recommends deduction /addition of quantity based on actual quantity installed
•To drive best value from subcontractors
•Updating the project BOQ on a weekly basis and monitoring the total contract amount with respect to the BOQ.
•Performing quantity audits for each Work Orders (man-hours, materials & equipment) for each subcontractors
•Communicate regularly with project staff and specialist subcontractors to ensure commercial controls are in place, understood and followed at all times
•Monitoring drawing revisions and updating re-measures accordingly (Bill of Quantities)
•Responsible for approval and disapproval of extra items.
•Quantity forecasting to determine estimated final cost of measured work and quantity growth
•Ensure to assist Lead Project Control Engineer in the preparation of the monthly cost value reconciliations, cost to complete reports and profitability projections.




•Check, verifies & certifies quantity records booklet submitted by the Subcontractors and maintain records of built/ site measurements and quantifications.
•Preparation and maintaining measurement booklet, that are the activities carried out in the month
•Evaluate subcontractors’ claims and variations and prepare response to such claims.
•When preparing payment certificates for subcontractors ensure that they are valued for no more than the value certified from the client.
•Assists in the technical-administrative settling of claims presented by sub-contractors.
•Maintain records and data to enable the Subcontract/Contracts Manager to resolve contractual conflicts and disputed claims with subcontractors.
•Keeping records of the Company resources used by subcontractor and backcharge them, in the monthly bills
•Provide inputs for preparing cost budget based on issues related to drawings, direct labour/plant hire on regular basis and submit them to construction management
•Assisting in the prpeartaion of prolongation cost for EOT claims
•Coordinate, verify and keep track of third party services on day-to-day basis directly hired by the company in the situations wherein the subcontractor is unable to perform and meet the project deadline.
