Senior Process Executive Process: Finance Ops Control, Intra-system or GL or Balance Sheet Reconciliations

1. Daily Reconciliation of Intra-system or GL or Valuation and Trade files on T-1 day basis for all OTC, Equity products globally. (Ex: EMEA, AMER, APAC and Zurich)
2. Daily breaks investigation between Implied vs Implied feeds, analyzing the reason for the breaks and clearing them appropriately through manual adjustments to Balance Sheet and Pnl A/c’s with prior approvals.
3. Excellent knowledge on the system flows and it’s CAL Logics for all OTC products like Derivatives, Commods, Loans, Exotics, Swaps, FX rates, Coupons and Equities etc.
4. Co-ordinate with different teams like Ops Team, SPG, Trade Support, Global Pnl Controls, Business Unit Controllers or Product Controllers, GGL, GRIT, L2 Finance Support, Centralized Accounting Logic (CAL), Feed Owners, Settlement and CTB Teams to understand the GR bookings, Ledger or FDR flows, Settlements or Confirmations regarding the payments or receipts from the Clients, Feeding issues, incorrect booking issues, missing settlement, CAL logics and missing of feed flows etc.
5. Monitoring the break clearance procedures to different teams with proper analysis, in place of incorrect postings and provides details regarding the manual adjustments to Audit team for proper Regulatory purpose.
6. Monthly GBSOV (Global Balance Sheet Signoff and Verification) for Red and Green Balances with outstanding breaks and proper commentary on the balances on WD-6 and sending the reports to the Top Management or Clients.
7. Providing details about the outstanding breaks on a daily basis to onshore teams and commenting them the reason for the breaks and its clearance procedures.
8. Making root cause analysis for the breaks to understand the issues and work with onshore project teams to fix them from the upstream (System fixes).
9. Reconciliation of different AVI’s like AVI43 (Dividends), AVI48 (OTC products) and AVI29 (Cash) and checking COLT bookings and checking positions in Bloomberg and its settlement dates and making manual adjustments in place of any incorrect booking or missing the system flows.
10. Meet the SLAs in time and work on the Adhoc requests from the clients or any onshore teams and always maintains stable performance under pressure and handle stress.
11. Providing training to the new joiners as well as existing team members and to different teams and Identifying process improvements opportunities and drive active discussion with manager to explore those opportunities.
12. Use collaborative relationships by listening, sharing of ideas and appreciating other’s efforts.
13. Different applications have been used to perform the task are SAP, TLM2.7, BO, COLT, DSS and Socrates etc.
