1. Achieve the maximum quality of service and exceed Customer expectations.
2. Greeting customers and respond to all their inquiries and requests.
3. Create Customer records in the system and assure the accuracy of data entered according to the company standards and regulations.
4. Prepare Customer quotations after checking availability date of items, and communicate any changes and/or alternatives to the customer.
5. Contact customers to confirm quotations; if quotation date is reaching expiry, and ensure that the system is regularly updated.
6. Calculate monthly & Quarterly sales forecasts and evaluate customer trends.
7. Checking quantities of goods on display and in stock;
8. Liaising with the warehouse to check on the progress of existing orders;
9. Provide advice on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;
10. Maintain and develop a computerized customer and prospect database.
11. Supplying and demands from suppliers.
12. Using SAP program.
13. Assist clients in a professional, courteous manner with product selection and provide design suggestions.
14. Merchandise showroom ensuring displays are up to date and that daily checks are conducted to ensure all items meet display standards.
15. Ensure customer quotations are reviewed and followed up to generate sales and ensure a high standard of customer service
16. Follow up on sales leads, including self-builds and development opportunities to achieve sales
17. Establish and cultivate strong client relationships to ensure referral business
18. Ensure customers are approached promptly and in the appropriate manner
19. Ensure any customer complaints are dealt with a timely and efficient manner
20. Ensure telephone calls are answered and queries answered as promptly as possible
21. Generate ideas for sales promotions to ensure targets and objectives are achieved within the department
22. Attend any required product training to ensure you are kept up to date with current and future product offering
23. Follow up on leads, generate new business.
24. Managing the performance and development of the sales team to ensure the needs of the business are met and encourage them to achieve their goals.
25. Keep all staff informed of changes and developments and communicate accordingly on a regular basis.
26. Manage the activities of the team members including appraisals, performance management, and training needs analysis
27. Provide on-the-job training to new employees and arrange all other training
28. Maintain a high level of professionalism in all work-related areas.
29. Holds a regular meeting with sales staff.
