1. Providing Consultancy / advisory services to Logistics & Transportation companies in East Africa
2. Providing Clearing & Forwarding and Transportation services to the clients across industries and locations.
3. Conceived and initiated many expansion drives for various companies. The improvements that the clients achieved under my initiative and supervision:
• Conceptualization of “Self-Drive” services, which is an IT delivery system. The vehicles imported into Africa through Dar Es Salaam, are offered C&F services and self-drive door delivery to the clients.
• Rail Logistics Logistics - Secured Access rights for one of the clients, as a private operator on TAZARA line. All business plans and concepts ready. Rolling stocks arranged. Awaiting the completion of line upgradation to be completed by the Railway Authorities.
• Introduced the consolidation logistics services, as a new business vertical for one of the clients, from Tanzania to DRC, Malawi, Zambia and Burundi.
• Guided and assisted to Start up aStarted n Agri CFS for one client, specially designed for Coffee and Tea.
4. Currently, just finished setting up a logistics company, for a client in Ethiopia, including a transport fleet of 150 trucks and trailers.
1. Administration of the group companies consisting of 7 Business units PETROFUEL TRADING, PETROLOGISTICS, BORDERLINK GENERAL TRADING, BORDERLINK LOGISTICS, BORDERLINK CLEARING HOUSE, PETROPAK AND THE MEDICAL HOUSE.
2. Petrofuel is into fuel importation and distribution in Tanzania.
3. Petro Logistics is a logistics division with a C&F division and a fleet of 75 trucks and trailers doing cross border transportation.
4. Borderlink Group is into distribution of fuel dispensing equipment and accessories, Logistics and Clearing & Forwarding.
5. Petropak is in to fuel barrel manufacturing.
6. The Medical House is in to the dealership and distribution of orthopedic accessories.
7. The group employs over 500 staff and is recognized as the SUPER BRAND in the region.
8. It has won the Manufacturer of the year awards two times in a row. And is recognized as a SUPERBRAND in the region.
1. PHL is the transport vertical of ETG Logistics. This role is responsible for the transport vertical in entire African Continent.
2. PHL has operations in Tanzania, Mozambique, Ghana, Zambia, Kenya, Benin and Ivory Cost. The total fleet size is of around 650 Trucks.
3. Successfully turned around the business at Pwani Hauliers taking the monthly revenue from $600, 000/- to $2.7 million within a span of 5 months, overhauling a negative cash flow situation into a positive PBT position.
1. Working as the Logistics Domain Expert with a Logistics eCommerce startup project funded by an Indian MNC giant (Confidential) based at Hyderabad.
2. Responsible for the overall life cycle of the eCommerce products right from the conception, development and implementation and operations thereafter.
