Evaluated the needs, applicable law and systems and implemented VAT engine and VAT reporting in ERP, with no issues, errors or need for voluntary disclosures from start.

Transformed finance function of the company to a paperless office, perpetually saving approximately AED 500K per year on stationery and printing costs and avoiding storage and retrieval issues of printed documents as well as courier/ post charges on documents sent to customers, suppliers and staff.

Evaluated and reported on financial feasibility of several large and medium sized projects, performed financial projections and computed discounted cashflows and supported senior management on decision making.

Was in charge of compliance in finance by revising and ensuring Finance processes are compliant to policies and automated internal controls are effected in all functions of finance.
Automated supplier communication by implementing Oracle i-supplier.

Automated repeated data operations of MIS teams using Alteryx saving 35 days per year for the team and reducing MIS cycle from 5 working days as well as completely avoiding human errors.

Implemented Robotic Process Automation in Payables, saving all human involvement in receiving, verifying, acknowledging. matching, tax compliance checking, end user work certification, creation of invoice in ERP and matching with purchase orders. This reduced number of staff in finance by 5, eliminated any chance of human error and visit of supplier staff for delivering the invoice for verification and acknowledgement.

Responsible for the entire finance function of the company that includes:

Financial planning, forecasting, budgetary control & MIS reporting to the board of directors.

Bank facilities management, cashflow maintenance and cash forecasting, fund management.

Contracts preparation, execution, compliance monitoring, identification of deviations and initiating appropriate actions.

Accounting, IFRS compliance, VAT compliance and facilitating audits.
