Working under the supervision of OIM/ Rig Mechanic.
Worked as Chief Mechanic while on rig move and when Rig Mechanic not on board..
Carry out daily inspections, routine checks, preventive maintenance services, repairs, operations of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic, drilling equipment’s and all other mechanical equipment's & systems related to rig operation.
Taking of fuel and water, daily log readings /soundings of Fuel/oil/water..
Ensure that tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner and comply with all Company policies and regulatory laws and regulations
Carry out maintenance according to the Work Instruction and RMS System and EMESA.
Ensure that SSOW, PTW, Isolation, JSA, Tool box talk are strictly adhered to by the maintenance department
Actively participate in weekly rig and departmental safety meetings and safety drills.
Ensure housekeeping in maintained in assigned areas
Worked in Rig equipment preservation for cold stack in shipyard.

Working under the supervision of Rig Engineer
Safety Representative for Technical Department / attending safety meetings, safety drills.
Carry out daily routine and non-routine inspection, check and maintenance of all running equipments on board.
Carry out preventive maintenance, repairs, operations of Main generators, Pumps, Air Compressors, drilling equipments and all other mechanical equipments & systems related to rig operation.
Implement and Perform PMS of all machinery on board and updating using SAP system.
Monitoring machinery operations & bilge system using RCN System
Bunkering of fuel and water, daily log readings /soundings of Fuel/oil/water.
Ensuring all reporting routines of maintenance are followed and documents updated

Ensuring all maintenance and repairs of equipments are done safe procedures as per specified standard to ensure integrity, safety of mechanical equipment and system.
Familiar and follow safety procedures- work permits, SJA, and paper work & attending safety drills..

• Planning, Scheduling and Supervising jobs to workers working with team members.
• Installing/Assembling engines with accessories such as Radiator/Heat Exchanger, water lines, oil/fuel lines, filters etc on skids.
• Installing & Coupling of A.C. Generators with Engines as per required ratings.-Assisting Service Engineers in preparing for alignment & testing of Diesel Generating sets for load test.
• Preparing D.G. sets for painting and dispatch.-Loading/unloading the units safely and without damage.
• Replacement of damaged and defective parts.-Modification and fabrication of skids and fuel tanks.
• Installation / Erection of D.G. sets at sites. Maintaining/Housekeeping the workshop area clean & safe
• Responsible for attending repairs & maintenance service calls for Diesel Generating sets ranging from 250 KVA up to 1000 KVA
