Sanam Glass is a new Jordanian facility for producing low-E glass that has a single production line contains 10-chambers with its target cathodes and vacuum pumps, at production rate of 45-seconds of coating a glass sheet.
I joined them during installation the machines and the production line. I was involved in all steps and stages of installation, checking and commissioning the mechanical equipments with a commissioning team from Leybold Optics GmbH- as it is the vendor company.
The commissioning stage consists of starting the vacuum pumps and checking for any leakage on the production line by using Helium gas detector.
