• Determine appropriate coverage, terms, conditions, and premium rates as per company underwriting guidelines.
• Coordinate facultative reinsurance placements for risks exceeding company retention limits.
• Prepare and share risk details, slips, and supporting documents with reinsurers and follow up for timely acceptance.
• Liaise with clients, brokers, and reinsurers to finalize underwriting and reinsurance terms.
• Ensure compliance with internal authority limits and local regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with surveyors, claims, accounts, and operations teams for smooth policy issuance and servicing.
• Issue policies, endorsements, and certificates accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Support policy renewals by reviewing claims experience and any changes in risk exposure.
• Maintain proper underwriting and reinsurance documentation for audit and reference purposes
• Prepare monthly business and management reports in line with management requirements.
• Compile and submit quarterly and annual reports to Oriental Head Office, including GUC, IBNR, GNPI, and other required returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
