I assisted in all areas in the shop including working on the till, stock taking, cashiering and meet and greet customers. I was involved in back office, stock reconciliation, accounting, stock verification and returns of goods. I also assisted in setting up displays in the store windows, filling of shelves and ordering supplies.
I worked for an Accountancy firm with two partners, 7 staff and 80 client accounts. My main role was to assist the accounting partners in entering all invoices, reconciliation of bank accounts and make entries using single and double entry book keeping. I have also helped in preparing financial statements for small and medium sized organisations, I helped in updating the journal. I also did admin work involving answering the telephone, photocopying, filing of invoices and using the fax machine and reception duties.
