My role is planning, designing, and developing network security across the organization. This is including the assurance of stability and integrity of Firewalls, network access controllers and VPN services. I also participate on the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all security network hardware and software. Moreover, my role covers the analysis and resolution of network security hardware and software issues. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Plan, design and manage all network security solutions. • Leading SIPCHEM related security projects implementations. • Update and maintain network access controller policies to comply with industry best practise. • Update and maintain SIPCHEM Firewall rules for best and recommended practices. • Monitor Internet links and ensure maximum up-time. • Maintain security protocols such as IPsec, SSL, PPTP, etc. • Reviews and evaluates new network solutions offerings and recommends purchase, as appropriate. • Maintain vendor liaison for hardware support and preventive maintenance schedules. • Monitor all network security reports to ensure SIPCHEM infrastructure is secured. • Analyze and troubleshoot all network security devices. • Document network designs and configurations changes. • Manage and maintain Site-to-Site VPN among all SIPCHEM locations.
My role is to ensure smooth operations of SIPCHEM's network through planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization. In addition, I participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. I also analyse and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure smooth and error free operations of the voice and data network of the company.
• Ensure maximum up-time of IT resources and infrastructure.
• Provides technical and administrative support for the VLANs, Routers, Switches, Wireless Controllers, CISCO Call Managers, IP Telephony, LRE links and associated equipment.
• Install and administer, CISCO networking equipment and maintain the routing protocols such as EIGRP, IGRP, OFPF, RIP etc.
• Updates system documentation manuals for the administration of the IT infrastructure.
• Identify, review and evaluate new equipment and software offerings and recommends purchase as appropriate.
• Maintain vendor liaison for hardware support and preventive maintenance schedules. Recommend best practices for end-user and infrastructure support and administration.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.
