Duties:
- Responsible in managing the design process and coordination throughout all the relevant stages, from Design Concept to Tender scoring and following on to construction, with complete management of the fit-out process, quality of installation, snagging, installation of FF&E and final handover to the Client.
- Conduct detailed review of the design through the various interior design stages. Offering design expertise and guidance to the all stakeholders for consideration and development.
- Responsible for reviewing design and technical evaluation at every stage; Concept, Schematic, Design Development and Tender Stage.

- Conducting a detailed review of the Interior & FF&E related tender documentation for completeness, oversee preparation and assembly of Tender documentation and approval by the Contracts/Project Managers.
- Upon award of the FF&E Contract, management of contractor/Vendor’s submittals for ID/FF&E works. Typically including shop drawings, material submittals, product and material samples, manufacturer’s data, material boards, test reports, etc.
- Monitoring the progress of the Supervision Consultant for timely review and approval of the submittals and shop drawings, managing the consistent flow of information to be returned to the Contractor within the agreed timeframe.
- Review the responses to the RFI’s and Submittals to ensure compliance to the design and determine if changes are being made to contract drawings, which could result in unapproved additional work and delays resulting in cost and time impact.
- Review of Contractor’s method statements for all interior finishes, equipment installation, products and FF&E elements.
- Monitor and control the progress in line with the construction schedule for the interior works, Signage’s and FF&E activities.
- Identifying critical activities, anticipating and managing risks and proposing risk mitigation strategies.
- Assist in the preparation of the procurement strategy, reviewing potential suppliers for quality, capabilities, compliance, lead times and price.
- Provide information relevant to the PM/CM Monthly Report on the status of interior works FF&E and Signage’s.
- Conduct regular on-site construction coordination meetings with the Contractor & sub-contractors, to review the quality of the ongoing interior works, resolve any field conflicts and coordination issues, in order to manage the progress and development in line with the program and any associated recovery plans in place.
