Provide Logistics leadership in support of equipment, materials and spares. Arranging transport and logistics on site for efficient execution of rig moves. Interface with drilling superintendent, engineering, country manager and rigs in order to plan and run different projects in field. Be responsible for inspection process and machine shop for tubulars and a proper handling in field
Be responsible for the execution of daily drilling operations conforms to plan and are being carried out safely, efficiently and economically, managing manpower, rigs, material supplies and stocks. Propose solutions to operational difficulties, which could otherwise delay well operations progress.
Charged with the safe, economic and efficient operations of 1500 HP AC Rig in unconventional drilling, Vaca Muerta Formation. “Aguada Pichana”, Total Austral - “Fortin de Piedra”, Tecpetrol.
• I started up a new project in unconventional reservoir field, in accordance with company and regulatory policies, achieving to improve drilling operations time in the first well.
• I trained drillers and crew Supervisors in drilling operations, good practices and AC Flex Rig 3 procedures for two rig in unconventional drilling.
• I leaded and controlled well kicks, getting a safe and efficient well control for the operation.
Technical and operational support for five 1500 HP AC Rigs in horizontal wells at 16, 000 ft. in unconventional reservoirs. “Loma Campana - Loma La Lata”, YPF S.A
• I Trained drillers and crew supervisors in operational drilling system for AC Flex Rigs (V-ICIS).
• I started up operations for five AC rigs, achieving in a short time overcoming the costumer expectations reducing the drilling operations time in 40%.
• I designed strategic alliances with vendors and implemented procedures to optimize tubulars repair cost and tubulars inspection time, obtaining a cost reduction of 50%.
• Conducted regular inspections of equipment, tools, operations and performance audits.

I organized and leaded annual Rig Manager meetings for all operations in Colombia, in order to evaluate and unify criteria, drilling procedures, standards, applying lessons learnt in all operation and reaching proposed goals for each year.
I designed and implemented a training program for H&P Colombia engineers in order to improve engineering department skills and performance.

• I trained personnel under my charge from different countries, languages and religions, achieving a successful start-up for both my company and the customer.
• I organized strategies to achieve a successful start up, at a time of the year of religious festivities (Ramadan) in a Muslim country.
Lead and perform all daily drilling operations in a 750 AC HP Rig. “La Cira Infantas” field, Oxy Colombia.
• With my team work, we optimized drilling operations, reducing drilling times in wells at 4, 000 ft. from 10 to 4 days and rig move times from 3 days to 12 hours.
• I trained drillers for AC rigs in all drilling activities, basic well control procedures, stuck pipe and drilling good practices.
• I design and implement a drilling manual for “la Cira Infantas” field.
