• Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role i.e. AR, AP, GL, MIS reporting
• Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations
• Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts
• Monitor litigation services costing, revenue recognition and variance analysis
• Responsible for timely monthly consolidated financial statements, payments, cash-flow management reporting for submission to head office in Abu Dhabi
• Review & approve clients billing, payment vouchers & journal entries
• Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations teams in analyzing margins, variances and cost analysis
• Support CFO in ensuring that intercompany cost allocations are in line with management agreements and transfer pricing policy
• Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports
Prepares financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position
• Managing timely client billings and payment recovery
• Works with both internal and external auditors
• System implementation, team management and staff training
• Project wise Revenue & WIP recording as per revenue recognition from the project managers/SDMs
• Weekly preparation of WIP report & follow-up with Project Managers for WIP clearance
• PO tracking with project team & ensure the PO coverage, timely projects billing & efficient recoding
• Regularly review of debtors aging and timely follow-up with clients (UAE, KSA, BAHRAIN OMAN, LIBYA & IRAQ)
• Verification of project expenses as per allocated budgets & highlighting the variances
• Ensure that Payroll is properly calculated as per time sheet, expense claims, deductions etc.
• Review and control bank reconciliations for multi-currency accounts
• Preparation of MIS reports including project wise monthly/yearly profitability
• Actively participate in budget discussion to prepare the monthly/annual budget
• Coordinate with the projects managers to complete the budget and / or forecasts and / or cash flows on monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Closely maintains and monitors the fixed assets system
• Work with both internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits
• Ensure that reports / schedules for statutory and / or internal audits are prepared and provided to the auditors as and when required
• Managing the team effectively to achieve organizational goals
• Visiting Branch offices in MENA Region for audit, assignments/projects & system implementations
• Preparing multi-currencies sales invoices and self billings
• Accounts Receivables follow up and preparation of weekly debtors ageing report
• Service order, Job order costing and budgeting for drilling consultants
• Arrangements of Labor guarantees, bid bonds, performance bonds etc.
• Calculations of onshore, offshore and stand by rates
• Interaction with banks, subsidiaries, customers & vendors for financial related matters
• Attending meeting and seminars in oil companies for all the issues related to Accounts & Finance
• Handling Payroll processing of 200+ employees working in ADNOC Group
• Deal with payroll/pension enquiries concerning payments made to employees, including liaison with relevant Council internal sections and external agencies
• Provide other general office support as & when required
