Handling ccountry operations related to projects market to develop export business in Maldives
Areas of responsibility
• Carry out in project inspections prior to commencement of work to ensure surface preparation is suitable for blasting or painting works & give technical advises from surface preparation to final coat.
• Advise applicators on proper application of paints to ensure painting work is carried out according to specification and procedures.
• Provide onsite testing according to specification to ensure quality of the finish achieve the requirement
My duties are as follows,
i. To assist the customer in determining coating requirements, surface preparation & paint application & advice on the use of marine coatings.
ii. Testing of the environmental conditions for Relative Humidity, Substrate and Air Temperatures and calculation of the Dew Point temperature in the blasting and painting areas.
iii. Grit blasting, Power tooling & airless spray inspections vessels.
(Inspection of the achieved grade of surface preparation & Observation that stripe coating has been carried out correctly while checking Dry film thickness of each coat in the specified system and the final applied coating system & create survey reports)
i Handling all personal files of staff & documents of the project.
ii. Submitting daily progress reports to Head office & Mahaweli Authority.
iii. Handing of all safety related issues.
iv. Monitoring the Dam gates surface preparation & coating inspection.
v. Handlings of cash impress, Forwarding of monthly/weekly account retunes to head office.
i. Maintain an attendance register for all executive & non executive employee’s while checking their punctuality
ii. Creating progress reports of construction sites & report to site engineer.
iii. Creating all sort of reports & Documentation, such as weather reports, vehicle running charts, Material requisitions, Gate passes, Machinery reports, etc.
iv. As the safety supervisor I have to check for risks at Construction sites, Workshops & take precautions. Check for every Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) & gather safety inductions.
