• Presently associated with Al Mehbaj-Al Muhaidib Group as a Procurement Manager - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• Strategic Sourcing: Sourcing strategy implements effective sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to ensure that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.
• Sourcing: Manages Planning and tracking of sourcing activities, cost budgets, supplier performance and savings forecasts. Minimizes risk regarding quality and financial exposure by utilizing quality and commercial procedure in accordance with company guidelines.
• Procurement: Design and develop the purchasing strategy, including hedging for raw materials, Source development, vendor KPIs and end to end cost analysis, ensuring materials being received in a timely, cost effective and as per the company’s quality requirements. Create, maintain and control the Supply Chain budget.
• Cost Reduction: Manage to an annual cost reduction target of various commodities. Cost reduction through development of alternate suppliers.
• RFQ: Floating enquiries, getting quotations & sorting the best deal in the interest of the company.
• Supplier Mgt: Identify and qualify new suppliers in cooperation with relevant category team with supplier quality and engineering specialists. Direct supplier selection strategy for the category.
• Negotiations: Negotiates agreements and price lists with suppliers and periodically reviews price lists terms and conditions.
• Procurement Budjet: Secure best in class prices or highest value for limited budgets
• Supplier Performance: Oversee supplier performance (on time delivery, quality, lead time), and resolve performance issues.
• Orders: Initiate Purchase Orders (PO) in the system according to the purchase requisitions in alignment with standard procedures and confirm delivery with suppliers. Also monitor and track supplier performance to purchase order requirements.
• Process alignment: Conducts all supply chain activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures. Ensure Pro-Supply global supplier relationship management platform is kept updated as defined in Pro-Supply procedure.
• MRP: Setting up the MRP monthly procurement plan as per the Planning.
• Inventory Mgt: Maintaining the stock of material without any variance by conducting stock verification and documentation. Manage a clear and up to date inventory of resources including all equipment. Manage supplier OTIF and MOL /ROL levels for critical items.
• Quality and Delivery: Where designated, select a supply chain capable of meeting quality and delivery requirements and ensuring the management and rectification of quality.
• Contract and Subcontracts Mgt: Oversee the procurement of direct contract and subcontract management of procurement activities.
