Responsibilities:-
Coordinate, review and inspect the contractor’s work to ensure that both the design intent and the quality of workmanship and materials are achieved in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
Prepare of progress reports based upon the findings during the design stage and site execution.
Provide recommendations to overcome deficiencies or potential problems observed on site related to the project design requirements.
Present design proposals and bids to client based to prescribed deadlines and explain relevant details, report, expenses line items and goals in clear and persuasive construction.
Attend meetings with the principal/Client/project manager/contractor, to respond to queries, describe design intent, and interpret the requirements of the Construction Documents and FF&E Specifications.
Innovate and develop new standards, policies and procedures for architectural design and execution works in order to minimize the costs and maximize the efficiency.
Review and approve contractors’ shop drawings, materials, and detailing submitted for approval.
Review and approve submittals including mock-ups and samples.
Review and approve quality of materials and workmanship
Review and reply to Request for Clarifications.
Provide supplementary design drawings and information as needed.
Propose improved solutions on technical issues influencing design.
Coordinate with suppliers, site engineers & Project Managers for the resolution of problems.
Conduct site inspections and prepare of associated reports.
Follow up the detail especially during the construction phase.
Monitor the design work through to construction phase and completion.
Check the materials, furnishings, accessories and artwork as well as architectural materials and their application.
Communicate with strong knowledge in sourcing for FF&E and finishes on projects, mainly hospitality.
Responsible for preparing the preliminary and detailed drawings, exterior and interior finishing for specialized commercial and design Projects.
Checking Architectural / External and Internal finishing on site & Coordination with client / contractor / engineering.
Shop drawing review, and approval of materials & Reporting to Management on site, examining various material submittals to verify the compliance with specifications and the conformity of client’s design intent requirements.
Conforming to the local UAE Municipality engineering rules & requirements.
Visiting the job site for regular inspection and recording the work progress to ensure correct materials and methods are performed accordingly to the specified materials.
Creating quick sketches on the spot to convince clients on proposed design changes.
Replying and issuing RFI’s/PMI’s to the contractors to resolve design issues.
Attending & recording weekly progress meetings with the client and the contractors.

Responsibilities:-
Checking Architectural / External and Internal finishing on site & Coordination with client / contractor / engineering.
Electrical support, lighting, MEP Coordinating between Architectural (exterior & interior), Electrical, Mechanical and Civil works.
Scheduling and coordination of QA/QC processes to ensure that all opportunities and comments are incorporated into the construction documents.
Examining various material submittals to verify the compliance with specifications and the conformity of client’s design intent requirements.
Preparation and issuance of RFI’s /PMI’s to the consultant to resolve design issues.
Supervising work at the design and execution stages.
Attending and recording weekly progress meetings with the client and the consultant.
Responsible for all civil works as follow:
- Project: Emirates Palace Hotel “PB: 13C” (Abu Dhabi, UAE), a Seven star rated
Hotel and the world’s second most luxurious hotel and convention center.
- Tasks :
o Shop drawings of ruler’s section, details for ceiling, wall covering, wood & marble works.
o Supervision of the GRC for panels, architraves, arches, cornices and domes.
o As built drawings of ruler’s section.
