Responsibilities:-

 Coordinate, review and inspect the contractor’s work to ensure that both the design intent and the quality of workmanship and materials are achieved in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
 Prepare of progress reports based upon the findings during the design stage and site execution.
 Provide recommendations to overcome deficiencies or potential problems observed on site related to the project design requirements.
 Present design proposals and bids to client based to prescribed deadlines and explain relevant details, report, expenses line items and goals in clear and persuasive construction.
 Attend meetings with the principal/Client/project manager/contractor, to respond to queries, describe design intent, and interpret the requirements of the Construction Documents and FF&E Specifications.
 Innovate and develop new standards, policies and procedures for architectural design and execution works in order to minimize the costs and maximize the efficiency.
 Review and approve contractors’ shop drawings, materials, and detailing submitted for approval.
 Review and approve submittals including mock-ups and samples.
 Review and approve quality of materials and workmanship
 Review and reply to Request for Clarifications.
 Provide supplementary design drawings and information as needed.
 Propose improved solutions on technical issues influencing design.
 Coordinate with suppliers, site engineers & Project Managers for the resolution of problems.
 Conduct site inspections and prepare of associated reports.
 Follow up the detail especially during the construction phase.
 Monitor the design work through to construction phase and completion.
 Check the materials, furnishings, accessories and artwork as well as architectural materials and their application.
 Communicate with strong knowledge in sourcing for FF&E and finishes on projects, mainly hospitality.
