• Creates and communicates designs and visual merchandising displays
and guidelines. Manage and maintain database of layouts, fixtures,
guidelines. Proactively liaise with relevant depts., clients &
contractors to schedule timely layouts, guidelines, production and anticipate
new display requirements.
• Supervises the graphics team with the senior designer in the execution on
layouts, guidelines, and database administration and coordination.
Design:
- Reviews design brief and produce layout plans tailored fit, relative to
given dim.
- Communicates & supervise graphics team for layout conception
relative to above mentioned details.
- Provides concise VM guidelines for windows and detailed production
guidelines for contractors to follow.
- Ensures that timely planning and delivery of guidelines and layouts are
achieved, and effectively use lead-times production to ensure standard
quality is achieved.
- Designs display enhancing accessories on specific projects
and computer simulate proposed displays for client presentation.
Supervision:
- Communicates as often as possible with project coordinators for project
status & consolidation (i.e. mall permits & installation timings etc.)
- Pre-planning meeting with relative team supervisor for proj.
installation brief and strategize installation timings with contractors.
Administration:
- Tracks and updates prod. schedule in relation with the project
coordinator’s deadlines.
- Updates database of dimensions (i.e. windows, display space, gondola,
freestanding display units, niches, cash till etc.) - in coordination with
Pfm. & Rtl. team. If there are changes an “as built” plan must be
created.
- Evaluates relevant materials to use for prod. in connivance with the
senior graphic designer & effectively communicates this with contractors.
