It is now gone 1 year into our business and I believe I am ready for any professional challenge related to running a brand new company in the UAE market.
Vital Certificates, a UK brand were opening their first oversees branch in Dubai, UAE. I was selected from a candidate pool of 900 applicants.
My role involved setting up the Dubai office. Overseeing operations, sales strategies, building relationships with corporate clients, sourcing new global partners to help us attest our clients certificates.
Setting up of pricing was a key factor since the territory was a new one. Balance was of importance to not over charge a client but ensure quality and professionalism as a value add.
My role involved rigorous networking at the British business group, Australian business group etc.
My greatest achievement ever in my career was over achieving our target of 1 Million AED in just the first year of business in UAE.
This role prepared me at a 360 degree, it gave me confidence in being a leader and ACE business developer.
In the year 2008, i started working as a Corporate Services Manager and took care of several key accounts aiming at enhancing the revenues. I was accountable and responsible for processing, booking of controlled inbounds and third country moves from existing as well as new corporate.
When it comes to addressing client issues and ensuring high customer experience I have been liaising seamlessly with various business groups for increasing the business and enhancing Crown’s presence in the market. I also managed cross selling mobility services, records and fine arts business of crown relocations which generated significant revenues.
I was personal responsible for working closely with overseas agents for mutual benefit & reciprocation of business and maintaining business ties. I efficiently handled preparation of Balance Score Card on a monthly basis for the reference of leadership.
Here, I administered the complete logistics services operations and effectively managed several key accounts.I have also been instrumental in securing best rates from overseas agents and local freight companies for destination services and freight charges. I was also responsible for preparing service proposals for clients as per their requirement
A short span of six months spent with Interem as an Executive for Business Development. I had started targeting potential accounts to enhance the existing business. I maintaining physical presence in the market and highlighted areas of improvement to the management. Pre move surveys and securing competitive prices from overseas partners was also part of my duties. This lead to competitive quoting and securing of corporate business.
Started my career as a receptionist where I handled 300 corporate accounts and 30 key accounts. Here, I performed in managing my work for which I was conferred with a Letter of Recognition from the GM for achieving highest revenue in October 2003 since inception of Marco Polo; certificate for exemplary professionalism when hosting Dubai 2003 (World Bank Meetings) and a Certificate of recognition for being a member in the organizing team Annual staff get together
