• Review and comment on Electrical Design packages to ensure compliance with the Project Specifications and other related codes & standards.
• Review and comment on Shopdrawings, Materials Submittal & Method Statements submitted by contractor to ensure that the submittals are in line with the design, project specifications & other requirements.
• Monitor and supervise contractors electrical work progress to ensure that project are completed according to schedule without compromising the quality.
• Lead and mentor a group of Electrical Inspectors and provide them technical advices and instructions to ensure that they carry out their responsibilities effectively.
• Communicates with clients and contractors to resolve any site issues and queries.
• Witness an equipment Factory Acceptance Test of different electrical equipment like BMS/ECS Panels, LV Panels and HV Cables.
• Lead regular site inspections along with contractors to identify any possible abortive works that may occur in the future and provide technical inputs and solutions to resolve the issues.
• Monitor the contractors quality of work including health & safety aspects to ensure their compliance to specifications and contract requirements by identifying any areas of concern in accordance to progress & quality, thus recommending corrective actions and solutions.
• Perform site Mock Up inspections with the clients & contractors for comments and approvals.
• Perform work inspections & material inspections with the contractors to ensure compliance with the project specifications, approved shopdrawings, approved material submittals and other project documents.
• Perform Testing & Commissioning of Fire Alarm System, Cause & Effect Test, ECS/BMS System, CBS System, LV System, Small Power & Lighting System.
• Report any works carried out by the contractors that were found not in compliance with the approved shopdrawings and other contract documents then report to the concerned parties for appropriate actions.
• Prepare Site Observation Reports and Non-Compliance Reports for the non-conformances found at site.
• Organize Site Progress Meetings & Quality Meetings with contractors and other related departments.
• Prepare and maintain detailed site records and provide regular reports on site progress & quality control to the Resident Engineer.

Doha Land Msheireb Phase-03 Project, Qatar

• Plan, coordinate and supervise MEP activities to comply with project and government specifications, contract requirements and codes.
• Manage and coordinate the activities of the sub-contractors and all other external influences that can affect their progress on a daily basis.
• Implement and aggressively enforce company safety programs and practices to create a safe and healthy work environment.
• Lead regular Site Coordination meetings with the Sub-contractors.
• Closely liaison with project superintendents to ensure smooth interface and sequencing of MEP systems with various trades.
• Ensure that all civil obstructions have been cleared to MEP sub-contractor in order to proceed with MEP activities and to avoid any possible delays.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control requirements are met and recommends acceptance or rejection of all work in progress as well as completed work items in compliance with applicable codes and specifications prior to raising the necessary inspection to Consultant.
• Monitor the progress of all the work conducted in order to ensure that any possible delays or issues are dealt in a timely manner and at a minimal cost to the company.
• Assist the Engineering Team in resolution of MEP issues, review and processing of MEP shop drawings, Method Statements and other submittals to ensure the completeness, correctness, and compliance with the project requirements.
• Assist the Project Manager with the scope reviews, justification of MEP change order works and work schedules submitted by the sub-contractor.
• Collaborate with project managers in identifying and solving technical MEP issues.
• Plan the project’s requirements for materials, equipments, drawings, manpower, etc. so that they are within budget and time frame to avoid such delays and costs to the project.
• Preparing Weekly Progress Reports, Daily Reports, and other Work Plans for comprehensive activity documentations.
• Perform additional assignments as directed by superiors or as required for successful project completion.
• Coordinate with Document Controllers and MEP QA/QC Engineers to ensure that all Documents are properly organized and consolidated.

Dubai Rapid Link Consortium (Dubai Metro Project)

• Inspection & monitoring of electrical works to ascertain conformity with Plans, Specifications and Method Statements.
• Attending coordination meetings with other trades (Civil and Architectural).
• Giving direct instructions to Sub-contractors to make sure they are following the Plans, Specifications, Method of Statements and other instructions.
• Supervision of installation and testing of Low Voltage Systems, Lighting, Small Power, Signage, UPS, Generator, Earthing & Lightning protection System, Fire Alarm & FM200 System, Environmental Control System (ECS) and Tunnel Ventilation System (TVS).
• Coordinating with the designer & consultants regarding clarifications with the plans & drawings.
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor site progress & accomplishments.
• Preparing, arranging and conducting material inspections, installations & T&C Inspections along with the QA/QC & the Consultant.
• Preparing and submitting drawing proposal for FCR (Field Change Request) due to site conditions.
• Coordinating Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing and Fire protection works.
• Review As-Built Drawings submitted by the Subcontractors.
• Coordinating with the Facility Operator and Sub-contractors for the rectifications of any faults in the assigned stations.

• Inspect contractors work to determine if it has been performed and completed in accordance with the Contract, Plans and Specifications, the Owner's instructions, and other Contract Documents.
• Witness testing and commissioning of Building Management System, Fire Detection & Alarm System, Electrical and Structured Cabling System to ensure that the plans and specifications are being followed.
• Review the Plans and Documents for Bidding and Construction.
• Prepare Cost Estimates Based on the Final Plans and Specifications.
• Assist the QA/QC Group and inspect their ongoing works to make sure that the plans and specifications are followed.
• Conduct monthly & final punch-listing of defective works to maintain the quality of work of the contractors.
• Conduct Final Inspection with the owner and consultants upon completion of the items in the Punchlist.
• Issues Non-Compliance Notices to contractors and suppliers if they fail to comply with their contractual obligations.
• Monitors actual accomplishments and compares them with the schedule.
• Anticipate potential problems and recommend preventive measures to the owner and contractors.
