- Cash collection on a defined book of business
- Work closely with clients, Thomson Reuters internal staff to resolve client disputes and follow through to satisfactory resolution which results in payment of invoices.
- Manage the decision process on disconnecting customers when payments cannot be negotiated.
- Manage complicated cash application issues.
- Monitor and analyse collection trends; identify debt issues at an early stage for resolution.
- Aid Regional Credit Managers in compilation of monthly credit control reporting.
- Recommend any changes in country credit control and mapping to improve efficiency
- Ensure actions from monthly business unit debt provisioning meetings are followed-up
- Ensure accounting for bad debt and provisioning comply with accounting standards
- Build effective relations with customer administration, Business Unit management. Liaise with Finance to ensure thorough financial analyses of the viability of commercial propositions.
- Help regional implementation of Credit Control Global template; country adherence to it thereafter
- Suggest and implements improvements to current practice.

- Handling the credit control responsibility for export clients.
- To have a biweekly meeting with export logistics, business development team to review client’s orders against the shared financial guarantee by the client.
- To release the production order after reviewing the current debt status, financial guarantee and the order value.
- To prepare the cash forecast against the production cost.
- Coordinate with logistics to have the necessary documents to submit the shared letter of credit to the bank.

- Dealing with SME to handle their accounting and financial side.
- Prepare and share the financial statements (Income statement, balance sheet and Cash flows) for each client on a monthly basis.
- Meeting the client to understand their goals and current structure.
- Create the chart of account for the new clients.
- Review the payables and receivables including the payroll for some clients with all supported documents.

- Provide customer services to customers.
- Answer the customer’s inquiries about bank products and services.
- Resolved client’s issues and changelings promptly.
- Ensure that all the bank’s policies and procedures, code of conduct and regulatory guidelines are strictly complied.
- Inform and suggest new banking products to customers.
- Suggest effective ways through which the bank can promote its products and services and increase customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that customers’ confidential information is properly protected and only used for official purposes.
- Be involved in performing some financial related and marketing transactions.
- Channel complex customer complaints and challenges to the right quarters for effective resolution.
