Technical Director is a Corporate Level Senior Management role, accountable for contributing to the strategic leadership, operational performance, technical and people leadership of their team and discipline projects across WSP Middle East (ME). Acts as Project Director (PD) for multiple selected projects, taking a ‘hands on’ approach to all aspects of the role.
In my capacity as a post contract services Technical Director, I had established and led a modern PMO unit overseeing, directing and managing the post-contract project management project portfolio and task force involving 110+ engineers working on a project portfolio of 25+ simultaneous projects of a cumulative value exceeding AED 25 billion. Project Portfolio included a wide variety of world class construction projects located across the Middle East, namely the UAE (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Sharjah, Fujeirah), Egypt, Syria, Bahrain, and Qatar.

Heading the company's project management department. Supervision of 20+ simultaneous projects including high rises up to 45 floors, sporting clubs, hospitals, schools, residential buildings, wastewater and infrastructure projects. Number of subordinates exceeds 100 project managers, engineers, inspectors and supporting staff, all from various nationalities..

Management of a $65 Million FIDIC based Construction Contract. Work comprises of the Upgrade and Expansion of Seven (7) major Water Treatment Plants and the Construction of 120 km of new Transmision and Distribution Water pipelines.

Project and Engineering Management for a $92 Million Design-Build Project. Work comprised of the Design and Construction of the Expansion of Two (2) major Wastewater Treatment Plant projects and the Upgrade of Six (6) Pumping Stations.

Project Management for the Design and Tender Documents of the development of 1500 Feddans touristic resort located on Egypt North-Coast near Alamein.

Several positions ranging from technical office engineer to technical office Manager, Project Engineer and Design Manager. Worked on several infrastructure and bridge construction projects in the Middle East (Egypt-6 years, UAE-3 months), Europe (Germany-1 year) and Southeast Asia (Thailand-4years).
