Receive samples from suppliers, conduct inspections and analyses to ensure compliances to QC standards, evaluate fragrances and formulate application formulas. Evaluate odor qualities of products to ensure they meet in-house and client’s requirements. Resmell samples in air-filtered room, smell samples using blotter strips to evaluate fragrances for specific characteristics, such as; odor, body, harmony, strength, and permanence. Compare odor and color of current sample with samples of previous batches and rejects batches not meeting criteria, Interact with suppliers and clients on projects and fragrance cost reductions

Served as a pioneer staff of Quality Control & Assurance team and developed the Quality Management system and ensured adherence to GMP regulations at all levels of production and kept abreast with evolving Regulations and emerging market trends. Determine, negotiate and agree on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications. Specify quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers; oversee the conduction of visual inspection, analyses, and rejecting unacceptable materials. Ensure the proper designation of Approved, Quarantined, Released, Rejected raw materials and Finished products. Provide Total Quality to clients via proper communication, to ensure their quality requirements are met, and addressing any non-conformity accordingly. Strive towards continual improvement of product quality. Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by the third party, document, evaluate findings and implement appropriate corrective measures. Identification of training needs, provide HSE and other relevant training. Obtain permits such as; fire safety permits, and DG permit from Dubai Municipality. Liaise with management and relevant authorities on Environmental, Occupational health and GMP issues. Investigate/record incidents, accidents, complaints and cases of ill health.

Ensured that all raw materials supplied to the factory are accompanied by COA, MSDS, and allergen certificates. Ensure proper storage and designation of raw materials and finished products. Supervise and monitor the Production line to ensure that activities comply with all policies, procedures, SOP's, GMP's, and safety guidelines. Arrange for the rework of paint and epoxy resins based on the Quality Control and Production department orders. Verify that production data are recorded accurately by the operators. Prepare and submit the daily report to the production Supervisor. Close the work order cycle adequately and then close also on the system at the end of each batch.
