On Jubail Industrial City, KSA my responsibilities were to work on evaluating scope and contract cost issues related to project change orders, preparing detailed bid estimates for all types of contracts and development of ROM estimates for budget purposes. I was assigned to all major Engineering/Construction contracts such as Site Development, Roads, Bridges, walkways/soft landscaping, water and power supply, electrical substations, security fencing/walls, drainage lines and structures, and buildings to establish a record for all quantities i.e. civil, mechanical and electrical quantities.
2010 - 2011: URS/USACE - Fort Benning, GA - BRAC Program - Senior Estimator
Writing purchase orders and subcontracts; assuring the superintendent and project manager are kept apprised of all changes, monthly reports, cost updating and monitoring of contracts; preparing budget estimates for architectural and structural revisions; distributing revisions to trade contractors; reviewing and approving applications for payment; coordinating with architect problems that various trades encountered during construction phase of project, coordinating scheduling of concrete placement with Architect, Structural Engineer, and Testing Lab. Contract close-out.
