The Sports and Recreation Management program prepares professionals for managerial positions in the sports and recreation industry, including: professional, intercollegiate, and interscholastic sports, sport/fitness clubs, sports/athletics equipment merchandising, public, private, and COMMERCIAL recreation programs, and intramural and recreational sports. This degree is IACBE accredited. Program Outcomes Graduates from the Bachelor of Arts in Sports and Recreation Management program will be able to: Integrate knowledge from sports recreation and business administration fields; Apply theory to practice through practica and internships; Communicate effectively in a variety of modalities; Apply business procedures to team and facilities management; and Demonstrate appropriate decision-making skills in organizational contexts.
