Worked as construction manager E&I covering installation, constructability study of the scope, as built, method statements, estimation, planning, mobilization of staff, manpower scheduling, procurement, progress monitoring, quantity re-measurement, variation orders, coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and clients.

• Reviewed 90 % of the method statements, and as built drawings to ensure that all project metrics are met or exceeded and ensured full HSE compliance.
• Analyzed along with contractor the resources necessary for pre-commissioning, startup activities in order to be aligned with project schedule.
• Arranged with planning engineer in generating weekly progress and look-ahead plan for the project.
• Revised almost 50 % of payment certificates for the Electrical Main Contractor against work done.
• Managed daily site supervision and technical support, execution and engineering coordination for the electrical team in field.
• Elevated significant problems to Project Manager and proposed corrective actions.
• Managed contractor’s progress report to ensure project is within the planning schedule and avoiding any slippages / deviations in execution.
• Accomplished the final release of 950 loop folders and solved the loop check problems related to (Valves, PIT, PDIT, TXT …etc.).
• Secured Client in revising and evaluation for the approval technical submittals and vendors documents submitted by contractors to ensure corporation standards are maintained.
• Assigned for engineering coordination and reviewed the total 100% of shop drawings, cables design, sizes, length, loads, including cable installation.
• Provided daily supervision and technical support for the electrical teams and managed construction activities through the weekly and monthly reports to ensure project is executed within the planning schedule and estimated budget.
• Prepared on time, approximately 20% of shop drawings related to electrical scope of work, Bill of quantity (BOQ) and submittal quotations for approved material requests.
• Monitored more than 210 people for Installation activities such as (cable trays, cables, Switchgears, MCC, ATS, MDB, LP, PP, UPS, SCADA System, PAGA, CTV, RTU, etc...) which are executed within budget man-hours and approved schedule.
• Initiated for project site progress report information and look-ahead plan to Project Manager at the required frequency and content as well.
• Managed 450 people in charge for cable pulling installation, testing and pre-commissioning up to 115 KV (1300km - 98% achieved ahead of time scheduled).
• Communicated with different disciplines (Mech, Civil) team, to ensure works are in proper sequence.
• Delegated for installing 100% of the Heat Tracing system (HT), Cathodic Protection (CP), and 35 % of PAGA, communication and Fire Alarm (NFPA) systems of the project.
• Examined the power house with a capacity of 8 MVA and initiated a daily report to section engineer in line with anticipating him to any potential problem in a pro-active manner.
