Coin Security Group was a privately-owned security company that had grown to epic proportions in South Africa. The company as sold to Bidvest in 2004. Having started with them as a branch manager in the Guarding division I progressed to General Management in Cash in Transit and later to Electronic security solutions. The highlight of this period of employment was being appointed as the Chairman’s Personal Staff Officer. This gave me exposure on all divisions in the company and the International Operations. As a result of this exposure I was appointed as the managing director of the armed reaction company. The principle of all the appointments was based on accountability.
