-Leading all laboratory equipment projects.
-Oversee project development implementation, start-up, and documentation.
-Schedule project activities to ensure that all project phases and milestones are planned, conducted, and performed efficiently and effectively.
-Closely monitor project execution and maintain project plan, scheduled tasks, project documentation, and budget.
-Work closely with all internal and external organizations in KAUST serving as project stakeholders.
KAIMRC Research Centre, Central Laboratory, Enhanced Bio Bank and Fast Track Bio-Bank Facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Coordinates between internal contacts (Equipment Planners, Project Coordinators and Procurement staff) and external contacts
-Medical equipment, fixture & furniture planning including specifications.
- Assists in developing standards and processes for equipment planning services;
- preparing room by room listing of medical equipment Using RTKL database "Attainia”
- Evaluates and recommends medical equipment to be purchased for new medical facilities, renovations and of existing medical facilities;
- Advise and assist in the application of instrumentation in clinical environments;
- Assists the Owner/Client with the selection of medical equipment and related systems;
- Assembles medical equipment specifications and coordinates the development of healthcare systems vendor drawings;
- Monitoring and verifying execution of medical equipment pre installation on site
- Supervising the installation and commissioning of new medical equipment
- Plans and Conducts the Analysis, Inspection, Test and Integration to assure the quality of the assigned product
- Monitors and approves work conducted by staff, contractors and vendors
