Monitoring and following up the entire sales starting from generation of a proposal going through technical clarifications, handling customer's Purchase Orders, ensuring deliveries are on time and finally ensuring the customer's payment is according to the agreed terms.
Utilizing CRM software to follow up on the status of the quotations and proposals and also to prepare sales plan through generated reports.
Resolve conflicts between customers feeder factories and international sales offices and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
Report on the status of accounts and transactions
Using market knowledge of the customer's, competitors & industry applications to formulate a decision on pricing of the proposals and deciding on the payment terms .
Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
Participation in Marketing activities including publishing of Engineering Articles in local magazines and participating in Annual fairs if required .
Extensive Knowledge of Flow, level, pressure, temperature and liquid analysis field instruments.
Discussing the technical details of the required instruments for a certain application and influencing the customer towards a solution provided by KROHNE when applicable.
Knowledge of both strengths and weaknesses of KROHNE and its competitors in the market.
Providing product education and advice to existing customers and potential customer in co-ordination with the outdoor sales team.
Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings.
Help clients solve problems with already installed instruments and co-ordinate with the services team
Studying in details tenders, proposals and quotations submitted to us by the customers to finally present a product / solution that have high probability to be accepted against competitors.
Providing pre-sales and post-sales support.
Negotiating contracts, terms and conditions.
Writing reports and sales literature.
Perform process Calculations and develop P&ID’s if necessary to help customer better understand a
proposed solution.
Develop sizing information for Process Equipment (Flow-meters, Level meters, pressure, Temperature,
etc.....) using KROHNE's KROSS sizing software
Develop innovative ideas and alternatives to be cost competitive with Proposals against other competitors.
Preparation of complete proposal for submission including Scope of Offer, Design basis, Proposal methodology specifications and data sheets, Cost sheet, Commercial Offer, Commercial Terms & Conditions.
Responsible for issuing technical & commercial specifications of a tender representing the factories needs for field instrumentation and other electrical / electronic equipment.
Putting a well-balanced points system in order to evaluate the vendor’s proposals both technically and
commercial
Head of the technical evaluation team for all tenders issued by the ministry regarding field instrumentation and / or electrical and electronic equipment
Ability to analyze bills of material and drawings to understand key requirements
Knowledge and direct experience in negotiating contracts and quotations with Contract Manufacturers and Suppliers
Ability to identify cost reduction opportunities
Carrying out routine maintenance for KROHNE measuring instruments in different factories.
Responds to reported faults and problems from customers regarding both flow and level measurement
Have a good understanding of KROHNE measurement instruments and their maintenance manuals.
Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education
Work on after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required
Arrange and carry out product training
Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs
Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
Provide training and produce support material for other members of the sales team.
