 Risk Management strategy and risk appetite:
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry specific regulation and guidelines.
- Work closely with board committees to set the overall strategy and establish the risk appetite.
- Design risk mitigation plans and controls to minimize exposure to credit risks, market risks and operational risks.
 Risk identification and Cross functional leadership:

 Risk Monitoring:
- Monitoring of key risk indicators against prescribed limits together with the senior management team.
- Oversee the credit risk management process, including score card development, collection, IFRS9 implementation.
- Provide early-warning, guidance, and advice on upstream and regulatory changes.

 Risk Reporting:
- Prepare appropriate reporting to the Board of Directors, inform management decisions, and provide updates on the identified Key Risk Indicators and areas for enhancements.
- Liaise with external auditors to facilitate compliance reviews and audits and safeguard strong and productive working relationship with the regulators.
- Ensure compliance with laws and industry standards, namely Basel III framework and central bank regulations.
 Business continuity planning and incident management:
- Lead the development and maintenance of the business continuity program to be robust, strong and scalable to cater for business needs and assure that these plans are tested.
