Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supervision, planning and coordination of construction activities for Medium and High rise building, ground excavation, and utility relocation. Ensure that Contractor has obtained local authority approvals and acceptance for utility.

• Review the Schedule Program of works & evaluate the EOT submittal.

• Pursues and promotes zero accident philosophy and ensure the project Safety policy and approved contractors safety plans are complied with.

• Ensure Contractor Quality plans are being followed to achieve the required quality of work at site. Ensure correct quality records and procedures are followed and recorded.

• Provide advice in relation to planning, scheduling and presenting the outcome, findings and recommendations of scenario analysis for all scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, completed on projects for the inclusion into the annual budget.

• Contribute to the risk register and undertake programme risk analysis. Undertake forensic delay analysis.
• Define methods and establishing outputs, in consultation with the estimator and other team members, including the supply chain in appropriate circumstances. Cooperate with the design engineer to establish a design brief for temporary works. Prepare a resourced programme, including reviewing the outcome for conformance with expectations and requirements. Contribute to the risk register and undertake programme risk analysis. Prepare visual material in support of planned methods. Prepare resource schedules for use at review.

• Highlights the variances on the approved schedule and review in progress meeting and with sub-contractors for corrective actions and any alternatives.
• Establishes the frequency, format and content of status reporting to keep the schedule status accurate and up-to-date.

* On call bases Structural Civil Engineer responsible for day to day supervision &
inspection of Civil/Structural works activities that includes surveys, setting out,
excavation, backfilling, formworks, reinforcement works, concrete works, block works,
plastering, waterproofing and other works such as Landscaping, Boundary Walls,
Road Network & Paving.
* Review Civil / Structural submittals, RFI, proposals, samples, invoices, variations etc.
& monitor its progress in coordination with the core team before recommendation to
Client. Approve daily site record, all civil related specialist sub-contractors, materials &
shop drawings submittals.
* Review accuracy & safety of structural design calculations in coordination with the
structural designer. Approve daily inspection request of work / materials &
workmanship of site activities related to all Civil / Structural, Surveys & QA/QC Works.
Oversee contractors to ensure that they carry-out their obligations in accordance with
contract documents.
* Arrange inspections, testing & guides site personnel to ensure high quality of works,
safety at site, works to be according to schedule & latest drawings.
* Prepare correspondence, Minutes of Meetings, weekly & monthly reports to clients &
main office. Draft / Issue Site Memo & Non-Compliance Notice to contractors for any
deviations. Site Instructions, Variation Orders & implement modifications in
coordination with Client, QS & design team.
* Recommend actions to Manager Director regarding progress, slippages & areas of
concern. Review & check weekly & monthly reports submitted by the contractor and
present comments to GM.

Undertake the supervision and Fabrication of the Interchange/Flyover and asphalt
pavement of Unaizah interchange project at national highway from Mecca to Jeddah.
* Checking the proper way of installation of re bars to beams, ribs, pier column,
abutment footing foundation and parapet as govern in the general specification;
* Supervision and Checking the bending of each parts as well as the dimension is
govern;
* Checking the proper way of cutting to be considered in the lay - out to be pattern in
bending of steel;
* Bar cutting schedules, computing the quantity of steel to be used in the project;
* Supervision of new jersey barriers ( NJB ) fabrication, installation and pouring of

Jeddah Roads Maintenance

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Undertake the supervision of the maintenance of all the roads and street at Jeddah Municipal project.

• Supervision of camp building construction, private, residential building, earthworks, proper spreading of aggregate base course, cutting of milling of asphalt pavement to take the proper thickness and quality of materials to be used, putting of rip - rap at sea wall to protect it from the sea;

• Landscaping and beautification of Jeddah as well as to repair all damages like roads, manholes, curb stone, tiles, road marking and studs;

• Taking the survey work for leveling, proper alignment elevation and erection of buildings contour and location of bench marked;

• Cost estimation of the project, computing the quantity of the work as well as the program of works, bill of materials, volumes of earth works, concrete as well as the asphalt and;

• Take off the quantity of the bill of materials, checking the final dimension in the plan as well as in the site.

Buraidah Ring Road Project

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assigned as the Senior Laboratory Technician the quality control section in the construction of roads and bridges;

• Direct supervision in the sampling of materials for concrete and asphalt works for quality testing for coarse and fine aggregates according to each gradation base on the specifications;

• Running mix design of concrete and asphalt and monitoring the blending of aggregates according to their percentage of gradation;

• Monitoring the testing in concrete of specific gravity of fine and coarse aggregates, sand equivalent, finesse modulus, organic impurities, soundness, clay lamps and friable particles, thin and elongation unit weight of concrete and aggregates, abrasion test by los angeles machine, slump test, compressive strength of cylinders and moisture content of aggregates and also the trial mix design and trial batch;

• Asphalt quality test in maximum specific gravity, extraction test, specific gravity of coated asphalt, coating and stripping, crushing of asphalt mold, coring and compaction at site, marshall stability and flow and trial mix design of asphalt;
• Earthworks quality test in monitoring of testing in field density test, gradation, plastic limit, liquid limit, CBR, proctor, specific gravity of soils, relative density of sand unit weight of sand and;

• Supervision in site of proper spreading of material like aggregate base course, sub grade, bituminous base course, especially temperature of asphalt before spreading and at asphalt plant also in concrete monitoring of slump and temperature.
