Pre-Sales/Sales Engineer
● Global Partner Admin and representative for Oracle, Microsoft, and Red Hat
● Providing technical consulting and sales support services to 50+ clients spread across the EMEA
region
● Reviewing quotes, defining and/or designing technical requirements and recommending appropriate
solutions that support the achievement of sales goals and clients’ requirements
● Providing ongoing support during the implementation phase including project management,
engineering resources, vendor selection, etc., as well as post-sale support when needed
● Developing and executing a sales strategy to increase market share by identifying new opportunities,
developing relationships with prospects, and closing deals
● Drafting and evaluating responses to 300+ hundred technical RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs improving ACT’s
bidding process and won opportunities percentage
● Developing overall solutions including high-level design, statement of work, and bills of material.
● Conducting client conference meetings, formulating technical presentations, and interpreting
customer requirements
● Presenting technical white board demonstrations to clients and creating solution/design covering
ODA, PCA, Oracle Exadata, and SPARC servers alongside all the needed licensing material to fulfill
clients’ needs
● Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key partners while attending events and
training sessions to maintain the needed expertise (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft, Veritas, DELL EMC,
Fortinet)
● Developing and delivering training programs and plans to new team members including but not limited
to:
- Sales Cycle
- Selling Techniques
- Product Knowledge (Oracle, Microsoft, Veritas, DELL EMC, Fortinet, Symantec)
