Projects/position: • Viva Bahria 3, 4, 12 &13 Pearl Qatar -Electrical Inspector MEP Consultant • Research and Development Complex Qatar Foundation Educational City Qatar - QCDD consultant for Electrical & Fire Alarm System Responsibility: • Review Method statement, Inspection Test Plan & Operation Manual • Review of Shop Drawing • Perform site inspection with contractor • Perform Site validation according with NFPA & QCDD requirement for preparation of QCDD inspection • Witness test and commissioning of MEP works • Prepare and review monthly MEP contractor billing
• Preparation of document for inspection.
• Monitor the construction activities.
• Perform routine internal inspection and verify some open punch list.
• In-charge as Quality Control Engineer for Electrical (Lighting & Power) & Special System (FAS, PAS, TDS, VSS & BMS) such as, raceway & boxes installation, wire & cable installation, device installation & Testing.
• Witness and verify testing for Electrical (Meggering and Continuity test) & Special System.
• In- Works as a part of a team of Inspectors and Engineers in ensuring the adherence of the project to client requirements as well as preset quality standards, study and understand the project scope and specifications as well as the ITP’s & Method statements.
• Preparing the RFI (Request for Inspection) from the construction and carry out the inspection of the Equipment/Construction as per the ITP.
• Coordinating with the discipline engineers to ensure corrective action on the above thereby ensuring the closure of the NC’s raised.
• Ensuring that necessary levels of reliability in equipment and systems are reached by the correct specification of requirements through to proper installation, commissioning and test
• Reporting any major Quality issues to the Quality Manager of the Project Management Team.
• Plan and direct internal quality audits as well as analyses the results, issue audit reports followed by the assessment, monitoring and verification of the implementation of corrective actions.
• Coordinating site installation to ensure strict compliance with specifications.
• Review of all certification and documentation to ensure validity and compliance with specifications, drawings, manufacturing and inspection test plans.
• Generating daily, weekly and monthly reports on the quality status of all activities with their schedule for completion.
• Carry out any other duties as and when required.
Engage in engineering quality control in construction of special system facilities (IT and CCTV) of the New Doha International Airport Project that includes installation of conduits, cable ladder/trays, cables and grounding system.
Monitor all installations of facilities for IT and CCTV networks to ensure conformance with the provision of the contract documents and procedure manuals and work methodology (the method statement and installation test plan)
Prepared document like: Method of Statement (MS), Installation Test Plan / Inspection and Test Procedure (ITP), Project Quality Plan (PQP) & Memorandum with regards to quality program.
As Part of the preparation of mock-up installation, materials evaluation and recommendation for materials submittal.
Engage in testing of the fiber optic material by means of OTDR.
Review and evaluates shop drawings prior to submission for approval.
Evaluate all documents as part of quality program.
Prepare the amount of CAT 6 UTP Cable & Fiber Optic to be installed in Site.
Check and Inspect Horizontal Cabling and Backbone Cabling Installation.
Updated Design Engineers by means of As-built drawing/changes in site installation.
Check all material delivery and prepare Material Receiving Report (MIR) Prior to Inspection with the consultant and the owner of the project (Bechtel & NDIA).
Engage in preparation of Inspection Request Form (IRF) for Material and Installed facility prior to Inspection with the consultant and the owner of the Project (Bechtel & NDIA).
Prepare Internal Quality Audit Plan and Implements prior to External Quality Audit by the Consultant (Bechtel)
Engage in Safety related works.
• Engage in Electrical Troubleshooting and Electrical Cabling
• Monitor all Generator Set, Transformer Compressors and Utility Pump/Sub pump Operation.
• Check and monitor Sewage treatment Plant and Waste Water Treatment Plant Operation.
• Part Forklift Operation and Maintenance
• Participate and support, quality program of the company, Environmental activities, 5’s and safety program,
